Q: Would this work for mycology experiments? Or do I need the big one?

I’ve had success using this machine for mycology work and pouring agar in petri dish without contamination. And bought 3m filter cloth as a pre-filter for prolonged use as I’m waiting on pre-order for original size filter. I have not had any problems so far and have used machine for a year now with carful cleaning. It has variable fan speed and always turn on full. i wish they would’ve used stronger fans and would’ve gladly have paid more. In future i hope to upgrade fans since its a cute small machine and hope company keeps producing filters. It has that anime Japanese look that i like with a year of use.

Q: How do I replace the filter?

Replace the filter element: remove several fixing screws on the top cover, remove the upper cover, and you will see the filter element. Take out the old one, put the new one in, and then install the cover. Replacement time: The frequency of replacement of the filter element is determined according to your use environment and degree of protection. If the use environment is dust-free, it is generally replaced every 3-5 years; If the use environment is dusty, please check the filter element regularly. If there is obvious dust, replace the filter element in time
