Product Description Fig and Vanilla Hand Wash and Hand Cream Duo Set has a gentle earthy scent of fig coupled with a soft and delicate scent of vanilla. The fresh and earthy tones of this delicious fruit accompanied by a soft sweetness of vanilla will leave your hands feeling squeaky clean and deeply moisturised. Our hand wash is free from any nasties. Free from Parabens, SLS, MI and MCI Sulphates. Great for men and women, suitable for daily use and perfect for leaving your hands fresh and clean, locking in moisture. Figs have long been revered as an aphrodisiac and whilst we are under no illusion that a hand cream can stimulate carnal desires, it is worth noting that figs are rich in oils and have anti-oxidant properties which can help reverse damage in the skin. Infused with the earthy wild fig aroma accompanied with a soft subtle soothing vanilla scent, you can leave in your bathroom for guests to enjoy. the best soap and hand cream I've tried
I tried these at a spa and had to have them. It was a one off treat as they are really expensive!Worth it as a treat though, just wish I could buy the cream by itself

Not what it says on the label
This product has just arrived and I was really hoping for more. My two favourite scents in the world are Fig & Vanilla and this smells nothing like either. It smells exactly the same as Jasmine! Will not be using these products as I hate the smell of Jasmine. Will gift to my mother in law...

Perfect for senstive skins
I often get eczema and dermatitis , and it affects my hands in a very subtle but noticeable way to myself . When I used the handwash my hands felt great, smooth, fresh and moisturised -miles away from the chainstore handwash I had previously been using . With regular use my hands have felt amazing , so smooth and fresh from any irritations . I haven’t had a single breakout on my hands since I have been using this . The pure ingredients really make a difference to my skin and they also smell lovely too . It’s so nice I look for excuse to wash my hands sometimes !The lotion is nice too but I’m more impressed by the handwash and this set is more on par with Moulton brown etc, dearer products that are better quality. Packaging wise , it’s ok , not my favourite packaging but I am impressed by their ethical approach .So overall I would highily recommend , especially for yourself or someone you know who has senstive skin.

Nice duo set with effective hand cream, but very expensive.
This is a duo set of cleansing hand wash and a hand cream lotion. The hand cream has a creamy consistency, but is a little weak and runny too. It has a very mild scent, so mild I could barely smell it to be honest... I'm not sure if it is just that I have a bit of a snuffle, so couldn't really smell anything, but I asked my son to smell it and he said he could smell a mild scent of vanilla pod, but he couldn't discern the fig. The hand cream left my skin feeling very smooth after application and it soaked into my skin within seconds of massaging it in, so it didn't feel sticky or tacky for any length of time, like some creams can. I have been having some dry skin issues on my hands recently and I noticed an instant smoothing effect over areas where my skin was dry and a bit flaky. I feel with use over the next few days, it may really help to re hydrate my skin and improve the dryness. The liquid hand wash has an average hand wash texture, similar to Palmolive washes. The wash has a minimal lathering effect and just cleanses your hands. Again the scent is very mild and the vanilla is the most discernible smell. The hand wash also leaves hands feeling very soft and cleansed. This product claims to be free from Parabens, SLS, MI and MCI Sulphates, so no nasty chemicals, making it more natural. I don't know about the claims of fig being an aphrodisiac, but I certainly didn't experience any sudden carnal urges after using the product, but I did have a noticeable instant restorative effect to the skin on my hands after using the hand cream. The products also contain among other ingredients, Citronellol, Linalool, sweet almond oil, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E, Glycerin and Honey.Overall, this is a very nice duo set, but I feel it is very expensive and I wouldn't buy it, unless it was part of a gift.

An OK product, not amazing
This set comes in a simple packaging. the type that's now trendy in boutique beauty shops, and hair salons. The set comprises of handwash and a body moisuriser. The fragrance is subtle, so it won't compete with your perfume. It's 'ok' but nothing special. The hand cream is VERY light. I don't like it. Way too light for me. It's more of a milky consistency and on my skin doesn't really moisturise very well at all. If your hands are very dry (mine are) this may not be a good option for you. I do have sensitive skin and although this didn't cause bad itching (like many) it did cause tingling and dryness in my hands (the strange irony of sensitive skin). I didn't like this at all and I think this might be better used as a light body moisturiser on normal skin (ie not dry). I would't want to use this again and I've given it to my daughter. The hand wash though is lovely. In fact, way too good to be used as just a handwash. I use this in the shower and it has a lovely creamy consistency and leaves the skin feeling lovely, with a nice light fragrance. This product offering seems to have missed the mark in terms of meeting it's objectives as hand wash and cream. I'd re-label for use in the shower and body cream. Now the price. Oh my goodness. This is currently priced at £23! This is way overpriced in my opinion. I use a top end hand cream and hand wash and it costs less than this. It's ridiculous. A more realistic price would be half that amount as the packaging and product doesn't have the feel of a luxury product at all, even bearing in mind the packaging may still be in it's beta stage as a new product. In summary, this is an 'OK' product. nothing special and at £23.00 a set - way overpriced.

Pretty basic
The hand wash and hand cream are quite pleasant, but there is nothing to justify the high price. The claim that fig as an aphrodisiac claim is quite odd. Surely you would need to eat it (please don't). What next? ... Oyster and garlic hand cream anyone? I could not actually smell any fig and just a vague hint of vanilla. Not being in the ingredients list might explain this. The bottles are nothing fancy and the brand name is perplexing. I have checked the company website and there is nothing to convince me that there is anything remotely special about this product.

Lovely set
First impressions of this hand wash and hand cream set were excellent - the black, white and gold packaging are very nice and look striking in the bathroom. The handwash is lovely with a nice, fresh, subtle scent. It lathers nicely and I really like it. The hand cream is a lot more watery than I expected for a set at this price point so at first I was a little disappointed. Also one pump dispenses a larger amount than I would normally want. However, it does absorb nicely and leaves the hands feeling cared for without irritation. All in all a lovely set that lasts for ages.
