I live in Florida which has a Jurassic variety of insects... It’s like whack-a-mole trying to get rid of one pest after another. So, I’m adding this to my tool box of safe for humans and pets insect eradication. It rains a lot here, so I don’t use this outside because it will just wash away. Inside, I’m using it in my kitchen (ants) and in the sliding door tracks and outside my protected from rain and wind front door. I’m also using it in my garage where boxes of papers have attracted silver fish. (ugh!)***It killed the ants in my kitchen within 2 hours! I also put some under my refrigerator where some cat treats had rolled causing the infestation of ants and other creepy crawlies. If you spread the dust too thickly, insects avoid the dust and go around it. (Nooo!) I used a tea ball to shake a fine dust around the edges of my back kitchen counters and under my sinks. The fine mesh of the tea ball worked really well! A few things I don't want it my home" insects and harsh chemicals. So, this EcoPest crawling insect killer dust seemed like the perfect fit.It is just now spring, and this is the time of year I start seeing ants. I carefully applied in areas indoors, and around the perimeter outside our home. So far, we haven't seen any creepy crawlies in our house, so I will take that as a good sign.The powder is very fine, and they suggest using a powder duster to apply, which I don't have. I just put some in a container with spout and tried to apply an even and thin layer.It is made with natural pumice powder, which has long been used as an insect killer, so I feel confident with this product. It also contains Thyme and Geraniol, and it does smell strong of thyme.Although this product says safe for family and pets, as with any product, use with caution. Be sure to wipe up excess, and keep away from pets who may ingest it (geranium can be toxic to cats).If applied outside, reapplication after heavy rain will probably be needed. But, this bag has enough for several applications, so it should go a long way.Overall pleased so far. A safer option for pest control.

Wearing gloves and sprinkling this around window and door frames has eliminated ants, palmetto roaches in house and silverfish in bathroom. Also had some kind of beetle that is no longer causing issues. Cost is average. More expensive than Raid which has lethal chemicalsand strong odor, but cheaper than other non chemical products and works great.

This insect product works good inside. Our climate is wet and too much hassle to use outside I think. I put it in an old container for dispensing cheese powder and sprinkled in areas where I have seen bug activity. I have not seen any since, so the odors are probably objectionable to the bugs.

It is a safe and effective deterrent. I thought I would add this to my arsenal as usually takes more than one thing to keep them at bay.If this works at all like diatomaceous earth, you should consider getting a powder duster to help distribute the finest possible coating. Insects will not cross through heavy coats of dust. Thick dust makes a nice barrier which they will eventually find a way around. Instead with a fine dusting, the insects will crawl through it and take some of the dust & oils back to the nest to eradicate them all.Once spring arrives, I will be dusting my foundation, and entrances to set up the barrier. The key seems to be to get a stretch of dry days to allow the dust to create a chemical barrier with the oils. I live in the desert so maintaining this dust barrier is pretty simple. IF you live in a wet environment, you might want to dust the inside of your house. If you can get to the foundation, a fine layer on the sill plate would be very effective.

This is a sensible product, and I love smart products! Pumice stone dries out insects, it's natural and safe! This uses pumice powder and thyme and geraniol (natural oils) to kill roaches, ants, ticks, fleas, silverfish and more!!! Obviously, adhere to the safety instructions if you have children or pets, but I love not putting poison in my home! This is made in the USA and is great for keeping bugs out of your kitchen and you can use it in flowerbeds, in garages, under the sink, lots of ways to use this for a wide range of insects!
