Hubby LOVES it!
I bought this for my husband's birthday. He absolutely loves this. He loves the craftsmanship, the look, the durability, and the functionality of this product. He's definitely a happy camper!

Excellent pocket tool
This is the best pocket tool i have owned. You can tell when you pick it up it is a solid well made tool. It is easy to open. you can open it one handed kind of like opening a butterfly knife. You just grab one side and flip the other side around. The pliers part is very solid and has a fine point for small projects. The knife is very sharp. The handles covers make it comfortable to use when gripping on something. I also like the fact that i can you can change out the tools in the handles. If there is a tool you dont like or use you can order different tools and swap then out. I would reccomend this tool to anyone. Well worth it.

SOG
I use this everyday. I work for a middle of the map city. I fix, fabricate and install just about everything you can imagine. This tool is second only to the one i sadly lost due to confiscation by a well known security agency, which was a lapse in judgement by me because im just used to carrying it all the time. Buy it. Carry it. Use it. Fidget with it. Awesome tool!

Cool Multi-tool. Not the centerpiece of a rotation, though.
Tool looked like it was pre-used, and repackaged. Still, with a bit of cleaning and oil it looks and works great.Isn't nearly as noisy as a Leatherman and the needle-nose pliers are among the best you'll find anywhere, let alone on a multi-tool. Ditto the crimpers. One of the best aspects of this is actually the carrying case. Rugged, easy to clip on to any belt, and it looks sharp. Could throw any other EDC tool in it in a pinch and it'd be fine.Good buy, I'm satisfied.

Extremely well made
I used the other reviews for this product to make my decision to buy it, and I wasn't disappointed at all. Since there are so many other good reviews, I'll be brief. This tool is fantastically well made. The craftsmanship is impeccable. It is pretty heavy- so it isn't well suited for pocket-carry. The included sheath has a belt clip and is also very well made. I found that I don't use the tool quite as often as I had anticipated, simply because there are few things I do in my everyday life that can't be done with my pocket knife. When I have had to use it, the pliers performed perfectly. The power assist is really noticeable, and I have used them in place of real pliers for this feature. Considering that this is just a multi-tool and technically should be used only when other tools are not readily available- I have asked this too to go above and beyond what I would have expected from it. For example, I used this tool almost exclusively to repair my lawn mower. I was able to remove stuck bolts that required tremendous force. I was afraid I would break the tool- but it held up. I don't think even my regular pliers would have been able to withstand that task.Bottom line: This isn't a cheap, lightweight tool that you use for opening bottles and letters. This is the real deal, and if you can stand to carry it it will serve you well forever.

Robust with Great Feel and Quality -- and a TON of Unique Features. Must Have!
I try to keep my EDC situation as minimal as possible, but as effective as I can. The PowerLock EOD 100% fits the bill for me. All the tools I could need (screwdrivers, a sharp knife, saw, you name it). Where it really shines is in the fact that it locks in place with the tools you're using, and in the compound leverage.Compound Leverage means I never need to exert as much force when i'm using the pliers or crimpers. it's a life saver in some situations. The locking just makes things safer when you're working with sharp tools and want more predictability when you're using it. Then you get to the sleek, but durable look of it, and you've got an ideal multi-tool that's well worth the buck.I live by this thing, and feel naked if I'm ever without it.

Sturdy reliable tool for ski patrolling
Had this tool and used it fairly constantly for four winter seasons while working as a ski patroller. I used this thing to bend metal wire around, putting screws into our bamboo poles, cutting rope. This thing held up like a champ through it all, and the pliers were awesome and able to cut through the metal wire we had and zip ties with ease. The only things I would ding this on is that the metal covers detach and can be easy to lose, and that when using the tool with force, you'll probably want to wear gloves or else it'll dig into your palms. However, this is small consideration given the beating I put it through and would have continued to had I not lost it between seasons.I got a Leatherman Wave Plus the next season as everyone was recommending it and the pliers sheared apart only a few months into the season. Going back to SOG with a tool that I know was reliable.

Quality is absolutely crap.
I bought one 14 years ago, same model but that one had SOG horizontal to the pivot point as opposed to the vertical on this new one and my old one also had the patent right under the SOG Powerlock marking on the handle. The new one does not. Rivets are also crap.Wanted to give this new one to my nephew but I am going to return it and go with a leatherman which has kept its quality better than SOG.I am guessing profits over quality for SOG nowadays, i mean, how many old schoolers get to review their products now vs back in the days. So sad.
