So please calculate what cooling power you need and don't rely on the figures in the advertisment. The manual also says that depending on the surroundings, the cooling power "can be clearly UNDERscored under certain circumstances". The Pricetag of the machine is quite fair 200-250 (unless in the summer season) considering the factory price in China 100-200 (at min. order of 612 Units). --------------------------- I bought this Climate Device „Suntec Impuls 2.0 Eco R290” at the beginning of summer. My first impression is that it’s getting cool but not as strong as I had anticipated. My 25 sqm (east facing) Apartment is cooled down by 1 degree C per hour. The hot Walls and furniture emit still heat. After 2 hours is feels 5 degree cooler that the 2 degree with the thermometer says. The value from the manufacturer 25m2 or 60 m3 are for average rooms. At south facing rooms, attic apartment, when persons or EDP are present, the Cooling Power “can be clearly UNDERscored under certain circumstances” according to the manual. If you see it as a air dehumidifier with a cooling function, you will not regret the buy. The device which is officially 65db loud, is less noisy as anticipated. I would not sleep when the device is on but working in the next room is no problem. My neighbor can’t hear it and the people on the street don’t notice the device as they do not see it due to my insect net. I originally wanted to buy the more powerful “Impulse 2.6 Eco” but I found no trader shipping it to my destination. I would recommend to buy air conditioners before the hot summer days arrive. A recommended attachment is a window air seal to not let the hot exhaust or hot outside air get in your room. This 200 Pound class device is not at all as efficient or effective like a real air conditioner for 2000 Pound, commonly used in southern countries. The advantage of this device is that is does not need changes to the building structures, which is important if you do not live in your own house. The device stands on rolls and can be moved to other rooms or be lend to your neighbor if needed. As a anti vibration mat, I use the Styrofoam base used on the shipment. I personally would pay 40 Pounds more if the device would be 10 db more silent. In all I am satisfied with this device. It has started to leak and I am not sure if this is normal or not..** A: If it is the water Tank, you have to release the water by opening the valve on the rear side. The maschine should stop functioning and the W(ater) F(ull) LED should shine. Otherwise is is the cooling Fluid. This is a very cheaply made, poor quality product. I have never returned anything so fast.
