Yes it’s cheap, yes it can achieve a good finish, will it last though? I very much doubt it. This trowel barely needs to see any dampness beforeIt starts rusting really badly, not great when it’s needed to use with a wet material like plaster!Even with looking after this as well as is possible, keeping it clean & dry, it’s rusted to hell. A real shame as this can give a really nice finish before the corrosion sets in.

This product is excellent considering the low price. It appeared well balanced and made application of plaster a breeze.I used this to apply bonding to a wall and as it was only a small one off job I didn't want to pay for a pro trowel.This item helped me to complete the task perfectly and better still it did not appear to rust when left damp overnight unlike some other trowels that I have used. I also thought that being a finishing trowel, it might be a little too flexible for my needs but I found the trowel to be firm and stable in use.Overall a great budget buy trowel well worth the purchase price!

Needed to fill a large hole and I am by no means a decent DIY type person, no point in me spending out more for a one time job.This was sturdy and well made, did the job well.Put away in the shed as it will last far longer than expected

I bought this trowel to do one job and found that I was getting a fine line through the plasterwork. When I ran my hand over the surface of the trowel I found what I can only describe as a dimple of metal on the surface, which scratched the plaster and left the fine line. I managed to use one part of the trowel that did not have the imperfection to finish the plastering.

Cheap and cheerful. Light and sturdy. Perfect for small rendering jobs.
