Well built, premium design cable!
This cable does what it's meant to do with class! ; ) I love when manufacturers pay attention to fine details, like the clear plastic protectors at both ends of this cable. Others I've seen are easily lost once you remove them but these people went further by adding a nice anchor to the protectors so they will stay on!The 90 degree angle on one end is now common on many such cables but the added touch of giving that end the ability to rotate slightly further reduces strain and protects the cable and your gear's inputs.Yet another detail I liked is the inclusion of a hoop and loop strap to keep the cable tidy.Add to this the thick, braided design and gold-plated connectors and you have a truly premium cable for your audio visual needs - in my case, feeding the audio from my smart tv to my surround amplifier with all the sound quality intact!Good product!

A Good TOS-link Optical Cable
This is a good toslink optical cable. Be sure you know what connector you need for an optical connection. This is standard on ADAT and other digital audio connections. Be aware the right angle connector swivels, so you can have it angled best for the device. But this may introduce a slight "wiggle" with the optical connection. Depending on which side you're using this right angle side on (transmitting or receiving), this tiny "wiggle" may not align perfectly and give you a intermittent signal. I tried this on 2 optical devices and the mismatch alignment happened on just one, with the right angle connection. It only worked when the alignment was "just right". The other connection had a solid signal all the time. As for "gold plated connections", this is an optical cable, with the digital light signal not being affected at all by "gold connections". They are metal and connect well. The heavier shielding around the optical cable is better than the cheaper/standard thin black cables. But as always with optical connections, you don't want to bend them too much or put too much strain on the ends. 5 stars because it is a robust cable and does work. You get a velcro-type of cable wrap you can put on if you need to coil up the cable.

Will Not fit My TV.
I got this to increase Optical Ports for my Large Screen TV. However, the Prongs are to large to fit into the Optical Port on my TV! Maybe it will work with DVD or Blue Ray. I gave it 4 stars because they do appear to be top notch quality and workmanship, that is worth something these days. Overall disappointed.

Perfect!
Immediately impressed with the quality straight out of the bag, and you could absolutely hear the difference going from HDMI-ARC to optical. My only issue is a personal one with having to use the separate volume remote with my 5.1 surround instead of the TV remote, but that is completely COMPLETELY a personal thing.Just watched the new Deadpool and halfway through switched back to my ARC port, and immediately heard the loss of quality, so I know this thing rocks. Also, having a 90° connector on one end, and straight connector on the other made it soooo simple to hookup, that and the super long length of the cable makes this a home run.If you've never tried optical-audio, give this thing a shot, it will NOT disappoint you!

A decent cable
Sturdy, pliant, fits properly at both ends. The nice thing about toslink cables is that as long as they work they work 100%, so as long the cable is snakey enough to fit where it needs to, you don't need to worry about grounding or interference or intermittency or anything... which is why I wonder why they put gold on these things? There's no electrical connection at all, either in the socket or between the ends of the cable. Strange.

Long, flexible, sturdy optical audio cable
This is a well-made optical cable with swiveling connectors, and works great for my needs. There's not much more to say about it, but I'm happy with it.

Excellent quality optical cable
Got this optical cable to install from my soundbar to the tv and it was actually perfect because of the rotating 90 degree angle connector. Cable was well made and look very premium and sounded good.

Does the necessary thing (data transmission) with a twist
Nice, flexible cable with a surprisingly soft braided jacket. The center of the angled connector rotates so you can position it as needed—but, there is a slight downside to that convenience, I as found it made inserting the plug a tad tricky (it took a couple tries to correctly to align the center with the SPDIF/TOSLINK socket). On the balance though, I’m glad it rotates and would chose this cable over one that didn’t. Of course it transmits data—as far as I can tell, flawlessly.[Disclosure: I received this product for “free”—in quotes because the IRS requires I pay federal income tax on the retail value.
