This case is capable of taking a lot of punishment while protecting the contents inside.It a clamshell design made of a slightly flexible satin finish plastic - in this instance a pale mauve colour. The case zips open in two halves, to reveal a compartment on the bottom to accommodate the kiddies camera, and next to it a little mesh cover pocket separated by a divider which can be repositioned (velcro ends) to achieve a snug fit. The other half of the case has another mesh pocket with a zipper across the full width enabling you to securely store a way little accessories like a cable or small accessories.I see no reason why this case couldn't be used for other items requiring protection - it seems an adaptable thing which could be used to hold any fragile gadget of the approximate size.A good quality and useful case.
