If you are looking to fit a full size sandwich without cutting it, that may be a bit of a struggle, but little bits of variety would work better. It does have a silicone seal to keep things from mixing or leaking.The bento box is easy to open and close, making it ideal for younger children. The color is nice, I would describe it as a salmon orange VS a fruit orange. At the bottom of the bento lunch box there's space to put the included soft gel pack (instead of the common hard shell type) but it's good for freezing or heating (by dropping into hot water, not microwave).This bento lunch box did fine in the dishwasher (top rack) and overall I am very pleased with it.

This is an important feature when the bento box goes into a kid’s backpack.The bento box has inserts that are removable, making packing the lunch and cleaning the lunch much easier.A nice touch to the purchase is the ice pack that was within the box as well as the stickers that came along with it.The packaging box itself has instructions and explains everything a user may need to know.Very pleased!One note - the orange is a little lighter in reality than on the photos. The color is more of a pale orange.

received this item through the Amazon vine program. we were disappointed that the orange color is more of a peach/pastel. however, the item itself is very durable. and the ability to microwave is an added bonus. multiple wells to fit a variety of lunch/snack items for my son. He says everything stays fresh and warm/cool, depending on what was packed. does not leak.

This is a great bento lunchbox for little kiddos! It’s exactly like the picture and feels nicely made too. The ice pack it came with is very small but it seemed to keep our food cold enough for a couple of hrs. This holds the perfect amount of food for my 2.5 year old but I’m not sure it would make for a great lunchbox for an older child that eats more.I definitely think this is worth the buy!

This bento box is well made, seals well, and has lots of divided areas. The cold pack in the bottom of the unit is a great bonus.

Got this for my 4 year old. She is able to open and close this on her own which is great. This is a great size for small kids and small lunches. It comes with a gel pack which is great. This is easy to clean and fits in a lunchbox.

My son prefers home lunch and so we needed to get him a new lunch box. This bento box doesn't leak and keeps his food cold!

This is the perfect size bento lunch box for me! Enough room for a salad or sandwich, fruits and nuts! It’s really easy to wash, seals well, and comes with an ice pack that helps keep the food cool for ages. Really happy with this!
