Use your Bluetooth headphones with anything!
I'm about to take a long airplane flight for a vacation, so I decided to try this device so I can use my Apple AirPods Pro earbuds with the airplane's entertainment system. This little box allows you to use an analog audio source such as a headphone jack, and transmit a bluetooth audio signal that you can use with any standard bluetooth headphones or speaker.Ahead of my trip, I decided to test it using the mini plug headphone jack on my old iPad as a source. It connects via a short (2" or so" jumper cable that you plug into your source, and into the transmitter. Pairing my AirPods with the transmitter worked exactly as promised in the instructions. No fuss. The pairing function is not exactly intuitive... It may be difficult to remember if I have to do it again in a few months. Definitely don't lose the included instructions. When I first turned the unit on, and played some music out of the iPad, I was able to hear it, but the volume was very low. I cranked up the iPad's volume to full, and did the same with the transmitter's volume control. Still, the volume was unusably low. So, I tried the universal troubleshooting method: I turned the transmitter's power off, and restarted it. After that, the volume was normal. Not as loud as I get with a direct bluetooth connection to the iPad, but loud enough to use.Sound quality is good, and indistinguishable from a direct bluetooth connection to the device. I have not yet had a chance to test the battery life... I'll update the review after I've had a chance to test that. The device also has another function: It can serve as a bluetooth receiver, enabling you to send bluetooth audio out of your phone or tablet, and have it play on an analog device, such as a stereo receiver or an analog portable speaker. I did not test this function, as I have no application for it.Overall, I'm very happy with this device so far. I look forward to taking it on my vacation with me, and not having to carry wired headphones for airplane.

Easy to set up, can connect two receivers, very useful
I tested this by plugging it into my PC and outputting my PC audio to two pairs of Bluetooth headphones. This was done in TX (Transmitting) mode. It was really easy to set up. If you put the device here and your headphones in Bluetooth pairing mode, it just automatically connects. That part is easy. The downside of it being so easy is that if it doesn't connect for whatever reason, you have no way to solve it. This happened to one of my headphones (it just wouldn't connect), so I had to swap it out for a different one at then I finished my testing. Maybe it was the headphones at fault for not connecting, but my point is that the auto-connect process leaves me with no way to fix the problem. If you don't run into this, then you'll have a good time though.Other than that, this was a really well done and smooth process. There is a switch to change whether you want to transmit audio or receive audio (e.g. transmit from PC to headphones, or receive from Phone to Car). It is very clear when you're pairing and when you're connected via the LED light.I think this device will be very really useful in the following scenarios:- Two people listening to something together (e.g. a movie) while commuting / on a flight- Connecting your noise-cancelling earbuds to the TV on airplanes (they only have 3.5mm ports). The alternative is using a poor quality pair of earbuds that don't have noise cancelling, which is really not great for a flight. And just a note for others, I found that if you press the volume buttons too lightly or in the wrong place, they're unresponsive. I had to press hard, in the right spot and at the proper interval before the volume changing worked. E.g. nothing would happen if I just tried to spam press the button. This was the most confusing part of the process because I didn't know why the volume wasn't changing (I probably still don't).

An essential companion for those long airline flights
Whether airlines hand out for free or charge for the earphones they hand out to listen to the in-flight movies, I find they are pretty useless. The sound is not clear nor loud enough. I therefore have a Bluetooth transmitter to listen to the audio but most times, my wife is using it. So I picked up this Bluetooth transmitter by MEE so I can also enjoy my own movies and I like this unit better than my previous one. The controls are clearly marked on the very small unit, including volume. It paired very quickly with my Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro and once paired, all you need to do is turn on the transmitter then open the Buds3 case to connect automatically with the transmitter. Then plug the 3.5 mm jack, which is standard on all airlines, into the entertainment console or the plane. On older planes that might not have the 3.5 mm jack, a two-prong adapter is included.Besides its use on airplanes, this transmitter is useful for watching TV if you are hard of hearing. The sound emanating from the earbuds is clearer than the TV speaker so you can enjoy movies on the TV without the closed captioning. The CinemaEAR feature also enhances the sound clarity by boosting the vocals. Just plug the transmitter into the Audio-Out port of your TV. There is a slight latency in the sound, but it’s barely noticeable.Another useful feature of the transmitter is streaming music stored on your phone onto your stereo. For that, you simply switch the mode from TX (transmission) to RX (receiver) and plug it into your stereo.

Versatile + great performance
The Mee Connect Air Pro is one of the better Bluetooth transmitter/receiver I've used. I like that it can simultaneously paired to two BT headphones at the same time, and comes with that airplane audio connector. Perfect for watching a movie with your partner on the plane. I tested it out by plugging it into my Fiio K5 Pro DAC and I could not tell the difference between my Jabra earbuds directly paired to my phone versus it paired with the Mee Connect Air Pro. I also paired my Ankers to the second connection and it worked without a hitch, delivering exactly the same stream as that to my Jabra. I can also see this being useful to AB test some TWS headphones. In receiver mode (connected using some wired IEMs), there is a slight hiss in the background that you'd really only notice on quiet scenes or maybe audio books. It's not as bad as others I've tested. Other than that, I've noticed no irregularities and the connections in both TX and RX modes are generally rock solid. In addition, the unit also has a built in microphone for taking calls. However, you'll need to bring it up within inches of your face to get any reasonable volume.Overall, I'm quite impressed with this unit. It's very versatile in function and its audio performance is excellent.

Works great, but a little hard to use
This adapter does everything it’s supposed to do. It’s uniquely designed to be very useful to air travellers, too. However, I am just using it to connect my phone to AUX in on my car, so I’m not really using it to its full potential (transmission). For my purposes, it sounds and works fine. It pairs quickly, too, once you remember it’s the button marked ‘o’ and you need to press it for 3 seconds…. My only issues with it are: 1) it is a bit complicated to figure out, with numerous buttons and tiny switches - don’t throw out the instructions!2) I’m a bit of an audio snob; yes, I know this is a Bluetooth adapter, not audiophile gear, but I personally don’t like the integrated audio equalization settings, I would prefer fewer ‘features’ in the signal path. Combined with the fact the LEDs are multifunctional so I’m not sure whether I’ve turned off the EQ, or the battery is nearly dead, I don’t love that adjustment.3) I think it’s perhaps priced a bit high for what it is, compared to competing products, but it does have the ability to transmit to 2 sets of headphones simultaneously which my other adapters haven’t had. If you need those features, it seems pretty reasonable.

Works great for travel or converting an older 3.5mm jack to Bluetooth compatible
I used these in my recent Iceland trip. While on the plane, I just hooked it into the single jack and pair it with my earbuds. Voila! Instant Bluetooth compatible device. Sound is more dependent on your Bluetooth earbuds. So when I work my Sony headphones, they totally work well and provide stable sound. Even my Jabra's, Earfun's and lower end earbuds work well. It's also a great feature that it pairs with a 2nd earphone so my wife can also watch the same thing as I am but with her own set. They also provide the airplane version of 2 jacks which I hardly see anymore but nice to see it's compatible for most headphone jacks.Battery life is adequate for its size. Bout 4 to 5 hours. Type C slot makes it current and compatible with charging cables and protocols nowadays. If you often fly or have devices that could be converted to BT compatibility, consider this bad boy.
