NOT for stencils, but great for small projects like rocks!
I was excited to get these! I have been working on some new crafts lately-some signs made with stencils and also some mini mirrors for kids. When I opened the box I was happy to see the markers slide out on a tray. I have another set and they are kind of "standing" in a box, but the box allows them to slide down and it is impossible to store them neatly. These store nicely. It even comes with a white card to make test colors on. I like it! It would be even more awesome if it had a black background on the back to see how it works on dark colors also, but just having the white card was a surprise.I started with a stencil I wanted to do. I didn't get very far before realizing that the colors were spreading under the stencil (see pic I took). Ok, so they aren't for stencils. Next I got out a mini kids handheld mirror that had a base coat of pink. I was tickled to see that the colors came out very true. i was worried the blue might dry to a light purple because of the pink under it, but it was perfect. Nice thick colors that cover well. I have a stack of these mirrors to get done, and I like having little projects I can work on in the evening with me feet up in my recliner. These paint pens will be perfect for this project!Just so you know, the tips really do act like paint "brushes". The tip will kind of bend when you use it (I tried to get a closeup). If you need a very stiff pen tip to make very skinny lines, this will not work for you. But basic coloring projects like rocks or things like I show in my pics are perfect. I wish they came in more colors cause I would totally buy more.

Great colours and coverage
These markers have a smooth colour flow with brush tips that provide great coverage. They’re easy to layer, and the bright, juicy colours really pop without bleeding through the paper. The included swatch sheet is a helpful addition. I appreciate the drawer tray design for storage, though mine arrived slightly broken. One drawback is that the pens lack name or number labeling, despite being described that way on the packaging. Overall, they’re perfect for my [amateur] artwork and will definitely get a lot of use!

Cool for kids
Great for kids to play with. Personally, I would like to have a double point option with a chisel and fine point.

Even flow
These paiint pens are great! They have a lovely even flow and glide just like using a texta. The colours are vibrant and they dry quickly. The nib is versatile for finer or heavy detail.

Paint covers well and doesn't bleed through paper; use for detail markings on 3D prints
I got these thinking they might be good for drawing on paper when lecturing with an overhead camera, for which I've most often been using overhead marker pens. These are not perfect for that application because the tip behaves very much like a fine-tip brush, requiring a bit of care to avoid too-thick marking. However, with care, it allows very fine control over line thickness.Instead, I found that these are nearly perfect for things like detail painting on 3D-printed objects. The paint seems to cover and stick to PLA surprisingly well -- even on rough surfaces like the bracelet in the photo. Yes, that was a quick and sloppy test on a bad print I had sitting around, but even so, it was easier to paint it and the result is better than the other methods I've used to paint 3D-printed parts. Coverage is particularly impressive: the colors are quite opaque in one quick application. Once dry, the paint stays bonded, even resisting running water. It has always been a struggle to find things that work well for marking 3D-printed parts, so this is a huge win.Why 4/5 stars? I see that these are a little more expensive than some competitors, and a few of those come in a nicer-looking plastic case. The "case" here is just the cardboard box packaging shown, and it is a little flimsy. More significantly, it is awkward to get a selected pen out of the box. That said, I don't know what the quality of competing paint markers is, whereas I have no issues at all with these. Overall, the apparent quality of the markers makes this easy to recommend even if the pricing isn't quite the lowest and the box isn't a great case.
