About the Startup Describe your product in 3 words. Minimalist fragrance jewellery How did you come up with the idea for this product? We are a small team of product designers that continually develop new concepts and research interesting ideas to improve people’s product experiences. The concept behind Lockstone dates back to the mid-13th century, where people of stature would carry pomanders containing various perfumes or herbs to help ward off infection and mask unpleasant aromas. With recent scientific advancements in material science and technology, we were able to harness this simple concept and use it as inspiration for our entire Lockstone range of functional Jewellery. What makes your product special? Lockstone’s unique properties allow it to quickly absorb and retain any perfume or cologne that it comes into contact with – Then slowly release the fragrance over the coming days. What has been the best part of your startup experience? The best part of what we do is having the freedom to design and create products we are truly passionate about and having the confidence to invest our time into creating unique items we know people will enjoy and cherish for many years to come.
