Straight stick with smooth power transfer
This HMQQ 2-piece billiard pool cue is straight, durable, and a significant step up from 1-piece pool house cues. I received the blue stick with the spider web design. The stick comes as 2 pieces which screw together tightly. The threading is spot on, so there is no discernible lip at the joint. The tip that comes adhered to the top is fine, but as it's brand new, you'll need to work it a little bit to get consistent shots. The textured grip works well, and I found the top part of the stick to be smooth enough to easily use without chalk on my fingers. The blue spider web design is ok, I guess, if that's your thing. The graphics do not add any texture to the stick and they are true to the picture. You also get a carrying pouch with it.I didn't weigh it, but I held this cue stick while holding other sticks that I know are 19 oz, and it feels similar. I held with while holding a 21 oz stick, and it's clearly lighter than that one. So if you are looking for a 19 oz stick, you can be confident that's what you are getting.Overall, this cue stick is straight, screws together tightly, and performs well. You might prefer a $100 stick that has a custom wrap and maybe a better tip, but for what you get here, it's a really good stick when you are ready to get something significantly better than 1 piece, wooden house cue sticks.

Great entry level composite cue
This review is for the gray 19-ounce cue.The fit and finish of this cue are excellent. It feels well-balanced in your hands and provides good feedback on my shots. The tip is large, measuring around 12-13 millimeters, and has ample leather for shaping. The joint is solid, and the cue is straight as an arrow. The grip feels comfortable to me.The only minor complaint I have is about the graphic. However, that’s a small detail. I believe the price of this cue was reasonable at $50 when I purchased it, and it’s an excellent cue for someone interested in exploring composite cues. I highly recommend it.

Not a top end cue, but a great every-day cue at a good price
So this isn't a cue that's going to turn heads, but what you're getting here is a good cue at a good price. The feel through the hand was smooth, and the weight evenly distributed. The decals weren't a work of art, but the cue looked good. The big bonus was the price. At less than $50 you can haul this cue anywhere, have a familiar stick in your ha d for pool night, and not worry about losing or damaging it because it's kinda I expensive.Well worth the money to have your own cue without making a serious investment

Great looking cue that will stay straight
This is a nice looking cue, that is made with quality materials. The image of the scorpion is well done and looks interesting, but the real nice part of this cue is the carbon fiber shaft making it really strong. The transfer of energy to the balls is great. The two part cue connects tightly and stays straight and true and is a good balanced weight. The only part I am not completely sold on yet is the rubber feel of the handle. It says that it is a non-slip grip, which is accurate, but it may take some getting used to if you are used to plain or wrapped handles. The price is fair for a cue that is made this strong with great attention to finish details. There are more expensive cues that aren’t built as strong that will last, so this is a good deal in my opinion.

Decent starter cue
Being in the billiard business, I came across this cue and got it for the new poolplayers that may not want to pay more than $100 for a cue. The cue is built well. I personally don't like rubber grips but at least the wrap is tight. The carbon fiber shaft has a grainy feel but if you wear a billiard glove, it doesn't have that much of an impact. It's lightweight. The cue tip definitely needs shaping - as with other new pool cues - but I would probably recommend replacing for good handling of the cue ball.
