This A4 desk organiser tray by KD Essentials looks really good in my office. It is a letter tray that is plastic free and made from a combination of metal and bamboo. I love the fact that it is sustainable! It is also stackable too so it’s perfect for my small home office! When I need extra space, I can get others as I need them and stack them vertically so they don’t take up so much room on my desk. The tray is 1.8” deep so they store a lot of papers and letters. It also has a cool rounded end at the back of the tray so your letters and papers don’t slide around and fall out of the back of the tray.This was a massive design flaw in the stackable plastic style letter trays that I’ve had in the past but this letter tray is awesome and totally removes that factor due to the fabulous design! It is also really good quality and very well made. I would highly recommend this with five stars.

Mittlerweile nutze ich schon einige Dokumentenablagen, die sich zwar optisch alle unterscheiden, ebenfalls stapelbar und tlw. aus Kunststoff und aus Bambus sind. Im Prinzip erfüllen sie aber alle den gleichen Zweck auf zuverlässige Weise.Diese Ablage von KD Essentials gehört optisch und qualitativ in die Kategorie: elegant und höhenwertig. Die von den aus Bambus bestehenden Seitenteile eingefasste Metallplatte verleiht dem Ganzen eine solide Stabilität und auch die hinten befindliche Wölbung verleiht der Ablage ein gewisses Etwas. Die vordere Aussparung an der Platte erleichtert das Entnehmen der Unterlagen. Ansonsten bleibt alles beim Alten: DIN A4 & Co. lassen sich hier zwischenzeitlich verstauen, bevor eine dauerhafte Ablage im Ordner erfolgt bzw. die Unterlagen entsorgt werden können. Um den Überblick nicht zu verlieren, empfehlen sich natürlich weitere Ablagen; auch hier kann man diese wohl problemlos stapeln, was im Allgemeinen ebenfalls üblich ist.Da neben der schicken Optik auch die Verarbeitung nicht zu beanstanden ist, geht auch der aktuelle Preis i. O.

The shaped sheet metal bottom plate of this tray is solid and heavy powder-coated steel, and the sides are made from well-finished bamboo wood. The parts fit together well to make a practical oversized A4 letter tray. It looks as thought they would stack effectively without undue reduction in height, but I can't say from experience, because I have only one tray to assess.If you were to splash out the nearly sixty quid required to get a set of three of these (the current price is £19.19 each, delivered), you might might object to having to put them together yourself. The tray arrives flat-packed in a compact box. The sides pieces are pre-drilled to accept the four coarse-threaded screws provided. Assembly is not complicated, and is fairly obvious, even without the instruction sheet, but it is fiddly and time-consuming. Not everyone will have the correct size of cross-head screwdriver to hand, and some might struggle to get the things fully tightened, as is necessary, since they are cutting their own thread as they go, and need a little force. This is exacerbated by the soft metal of the screws, and the unusual pattern of the head (probably JIS or something). I managed to burr one of the heads, and I was being relatively careful. I realise that some space will be saved in transit, but not a lot, and really a premium product like this would benefit from being supplied fully assembled, in my opinion.

Damit sollte es in die meisten Büro- und Heimarbeitsplätze passen. Ein A4-Blatt misst 297 mm x 210 mm und passt damit auch in die Ablage. Gestapelt fasst die Ablage etwa 100 Blatt Papier. An der Hinterseite ist das Metall rund gewalzt, sodass die Dokumente nicht herausfallen können. Der Zusammenbau ist zwar simpel konzipiert, dauerte jedoch etwas, weil die Anleitung meiner Ansicht nach besser sein könnte und kein Schraubendreher beiliegt, der zum Zusammenbau benötigt wird. Die Verarbeitung ist insgesamt ordentlich.💰 Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis:Der aufgerufene Preis von 21,99 € (Stand: 11.03.2023) ist unter Anbetracht oben genannter Gesichtspunkte vergleichsweise angemessen.📊 Fazit:Die KD Essentials - Dokumentenablage hilft dabei, unübersichtliche Arbeitsplätze zu organisieren. Sie bietet ausreichend Platz für gut 100 Blatt Papier oder auch kleinere Utensilien, die sonst wahllos umherliegen. Der Zusammenbau ist zwar einfach, es wird aber ein Schraubendreher benötigt. Die Verarbeitung ist ordentlich. Insgesamt kann ich diese Dokumentenablage daher empfehlen.

Out of the box this paper tray looks simple. Four pieces of preformed and drilled wood, a piece of metal, six screws and four rubber feet. What can go wrong?A side that refuses to line up or tighten properly, and screw heads that protrude from the bottom, and feet that are so small they disappear.The first side went on like a dream. I sandwiched the metal sheet between the bottom piece of wood (the one with the front tray indent and three holes through it) and the top piece of wood (the one with the three screw guides). Put the screws in and tightened each slowly in turn. Ensuring the two pieces of wood lined up on the outer edge to form a smooth side. Eventually the screws were fully inserted and the three pieces were firmly in place.Move on to the second side and it was like trying to fit a square in a round hole. Pre-screwing, the three pieces fit together perfectly and looked completely aligned.During the installation of the screws the two pieces of wood slowly drifted off alignment no matter how much strength I used to force them in place. And the screws would not sit correctly or tighten enough, leaving a gap and a very loose side that waggled.After multiple attempts I ended up using different screws to secure it and ensure the heads were not exposed. As to the rubber feet.... Well let's just say I needed a magnifying glass to find them.Hence my rating of two stars. It's functional, but not great, and for just under £20 I expect a little more quality.
