These come in shapes that are bbq themed and are pretty cute: they are heavy and radiate heat well for even cooking I really like them! The bricks are heavy duty and are compressed and fired making them hold heat and distribute it for better results. The set comes nicely packaged even for gift ability for dad for fathers day!

These are really small, so it took a ton to cover the space. Since it took so much more, it was not particularly efficient. Flames still come through, but it did seem to even out the heat a little. They produced no flavor as far as I, or my family, could tell.

These are extremely heavy and very very dusty, so a bit nervous to have the dust blow up onto the food. Would need to be well rinsed before use.

It's almost like they packaged these in a container for lava rocks. But these are ceramic. I got them to put on the cooler side of my kettle's charcoal grate, above food that is done grilling but still needs to stay warm. My hunch is that they will absorb the heat from the charcoal without continuing to cook the food too much. I will adjust the rating based on how these work. It seems like there are plenty of them, and they constructed well.

These were so easy to use. I love how even my heat is now and the food tast great. They are easy to use. Great value.
