excellent effects, NEEWER, as always, does not dissapoint!
I recently purchased the NEEWER 77mm Handheld Kaleidoscope Prism Lens Filter for around $50, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my photography toolkit. The kaleidoscope effect it creates is sharp, with well-defined edges that really make my shots stand out. It’s also an excellent example of Lowry scattering, adding an artistic touch that I’ve been thrilled with. The filter is lightweight and easy to handle, making it perfect for both studio and outdoor shoots. For the price, it’s great value, and once again, NEEWER has proven to be a reliable brand. They never disappoint! An STG Synergies BTN Enterprises Review!

Fun prop for your photography kit
This is a neat item to have for creative photography and videography. If you hold in front of your lens you can get a creative Kaleidoscope effect. You can rotate the prism to get your desired effect as well. It is made from high quality material and breaks down for easy storage. At the time of this review it was 50% off at $22. Worth it at that price.

great addition
For those into photography/videography. This is a great prism to have in your kit. It creates wonderful visuals and depending on how close to the lens you use it and which part of the prism, you can get multiple types of visuals. Its a bit heavy and comes with a holder and little pouch (that it doesn't fit in with the holder). At this price, not sure if I recommend it, but if the price isn't off-putting its definitely worth picking up.If it says Neewer on it, you probably just want to go ahead and buy it. Love all their gear!

Off camera design provides a variety of creative possibilities
I have been having a lot of fun with this kaleidoscopic prism lens filter from NEEWER. I’m finding it can create many more looks besides the typical kaleidoscopic multi-image.Such filters ordinarily mount to the front of a camera lens. The NEEWER filter is handheld, using a handle. The filter pushes multiple imaging to a new level. It can be tilted off-axis with the lens and sensor and can readily be positioned at different distances from the lens or even swept across it. A zoom lens makes the effect even more dramatic at either end of the focal range. A 1/4-inch threaded connector at the base of the handle allows for mounting the filter on a light stand, tripod or other holder. There is another unexpected benefit—I find myself going back to my familiar photo haunts to lend a new perspective to scenes and items I have photographed before. For me, that’s huge. The prism filter is sizeable, too. Including the handle, the generous, 77mm chunk of high-transmittance optical glass weighs nearly four-and-a-half ounces.Along with the two-piece, detachable handle, the lens comes with an instruction sheet, cleaning cloth and a durable, satiny lined carrying pouch with Velcro closure.

Lots of facets
This one has more facets than my other one. It's cool to have but a little bit of a pain to take out and use. Good for regular cameras since most phones have filters you can use in camera to achieve the same effect

I'm not sure I'm qualified to judge this filter. (Watch the video and I'll let you decide.)
The media could not be loaded. I'm always looking for interesting effects and new things I can do to enhance my videos. So I was open to trying this "Kaleidoscope Prism Lens Filter" from Neewer, which they claim "creates magical refraction effects,'" all "without using editing software." I like the Neewer brand and I think they make quality products, so I thought I would give it a go.Take a look at the attached video and keep in mind, this is my first time ever handling a lens filter like this...so I have no idea if I'm doing it right. The effect it creates is like a drug-induced psychosis. Or to put it in more friendly terms, a kaleidoscope. But the question is, "how would I actually use this?" Or better put, "How would someone who knows what they're doing using this?"In my experiment, I held the lens filter in front of my Sony A7Siii, which had a 20mm f1.8 lens on it, while pointing the camera at various flowers. The first thing this experiment conjured up is that someone had just slipped a roofie in my drink and I was about to do a face plant on the dance floor. But I'm guessing if you are more creative--and actually know how to properly use this filter--you may create some images that are hauntingly beautiful. (As opposed to just haunting.)I will find a way to use this lens filter in a video that I make. But possibly only once, since I'm not completely sure why this product exists and how I should actually be using it. (But I certainly invite others to show me the error of my ways.)Thanks for reading this!

It transforms ordinary scenes into mesmerizing kaleidoscopic patterns with ease, adding a unique artistic touch to my photos. The build quality feels solid, and the filter is easy to handle and adjust. It's particularly great for capturing abstract and imaginative shots, making it perfect for experimenting with different perspectives. Overall, it's a fantastic tool for photographers looking to add a dash of creativity to their work.
