The cutter is wide enough to accomodate a larger loaf than the sturdy regular silicone molds with side support - like Crafter's Choice.Works very well! I'm glad I didn't waste money on a full-length cutter as most of them are made similarly, and you have to keep moving the loaf to make new cuts anyway.

Good for taller loaves of soaps! The box is very sturdy and heavy. It even takes the wavy cutting blade, too. The cutter that comes with it is also sturdy. Wish I had seen this before I ordered the wooden cutting box that I found was really too short for the loaf soaps..

I was nervous purchasing this due to some reviews stating the cutter was flimsy and would bend while cutting soap, but I have had nothing but ease and success with this product. I cut my cold process soap ~ 2 1/2 days after making it, and the cutter does fantastic. Perfect 1" bars with every cut. Love it!

I liked that it was metal vs wood, but I can cut a straighter bar of soap freehand than this thing. The cutter is super dull, so I have to put loads of pressure on it to cut, and the load slides backwards despite counter pressure, resulting in an uneven slanty cut. Bummed, because it was spendy.

Does not cut straight, the cutter is flimsy and bows when used. Tried to return, but company only returns unopened, unused products. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON this cutter, or in this company that doesn't stand behind their products.
