Best when hooked up to a computer, still needs to be charged.
I admit. I had a brain fart when I bought this. I had wanted a blue-tooth speaker so I could hook it up to my phone wirelessly. I just plain didn't use my brain when I bought this. But anyways... here's what I think of it...I like that the cord can be retracted. I'm not a fan of the aux input being so close to the usb charger. Basically it's made to be permanently hooked up to a computer or to be charged and then use the battery while hooking it up to anything else like a phone. (Though it's a full-size usb, not a micro usb so you'd need another cord/adapter to have it charge from your phone-but why would you do that and not just hook it into the wall?)I wanted to connect this to my phone but the sound quality is definitely lower when it's using its own battery.I don't like connecting it to my computer because then my system sounds and such go through the speakers as well. I ended up turning the system sounds on my computer off.Decent sound on low volume when fully hooked up to my computer. It does not have it's own volume control. The ring that goes around the circumference of the speaker lights up blue when it's on. So if you plan on keeping this turned on in your bedroom... you're going to have to turn it off when you're not using it. I use mine at work so it's always hooked up and on. It's not distracting at work - obviously the lights are on. [I'm finding now that it lights up red when the battery is dying.]1.75" h x 2.25"wCord length 30" fully extended1-2 MONTH UPDATE:I've had this speaker for a month, maybe two months tops. I always leave it plugged into the computer (for charging and audio input) and always leave it "on." I only ever have my volume set to 1 or 2 out of 100 because I only use it for background noise to help me focus at work. Now it sometimes gets really static-y to the point where I hear the static more than the music. Turning up the volume also makes the static louder. It's not the connections or the computer. Definitely the speaker. The only thing that works is to turn it off for a while (half hour or more) and turn it back on. The only thing I can think of is that it's using more power than what it's drawing in from the usb charging cable. Is that a huge deal? No, not a Huge deal. But it is really annoying. I would have thought that when I'm not at work and/or not playing music though the speaker, that it would be charging enough that, during a regular work shift, I wouldn't have to worry about the battery dying. (Like I said, the usb is always plugged in so it's Always charging. I'm a "rebel" and don't turn my computer off at night when I leave. Scandalous, I know.)I know I only paid $8-15 on this but the $15 bluetooth logitech speaker I got from Best Buy 2 years ago is 10 times better.I'll eventually buy another of the same one I got from Best Buy.

They work
These are good and work and I can see how having a few more might be better than two or more.

At first it didn't sound like it'd be that loud but once it was at its full volume, I was impressed. Don't let the size fool you lol. I use it all the time and the sound quality is really good

The Multitalented Little Music Maker
I have used this golf ball-sized speaker for many items: Kindles computer, cell phone, Mp3 and so on. The included bag was a genius idea and the retractable wire adds so much to the usefulness of the product!
