it’s great! Just know how to use it
The media could not be loaded. I used it for momo Yaoyorozu! (Freakingfanta on tiktok!) it works really well and is easy to use AS LONG AS YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT!!look up on YouTube how to use it before just trying it, I never got any cuts using it correctlySometimes the metal gets unraveled so look up on yt again how to fix it

It cut my daughter's hand!
My 19-year-old daughter has had this on her Amazon wish list for years! This year she was thrilled to get it in her stocking. But it has been a disappointment. It is difficult to collapse. Occasionally it works as it should, but most of the time, it gets stuck. Today when she tried to close it, instead of collapsing it cut the palm of her hand. I wouldn't recommend this magic cane to anyone.

Practice makes perfect
After seeing all of the reviews, I swore I was being careful and still slightly cut my thumb lol. But you can definitely get the hang of it and be stylish with how it extends. I recommend not leaving in your pocket. It can at times pop and extend on accident. It wont be fun if you forget it's in your pocket and it does it. It did this in my car and it took me forever to get it from stuck under and between the seats. I used it for Gambit cosplay and kept mine in bookbag when not in use after learning it may pop out whenever. I recommend mastering how to twist it back closed over and over again before you go out. It was difficult at first but after some wearing it down a good few times, it became easy

Exactly what you think but definitely dangerous.
So I bought this as a prop for some of my D&D sessions. We have a particularly annoying and obnoxious character who uses a staff. I thought this would be a pretty funny way to make him even more obnoxious.Upon first opening it this thing I made the mistake of being too close to the wall, causing it to launch OFF the wall and into my t.v luckily not breaking it. When putting it back together the sharp edges were very difficult to deal with, especially when it began unraveling. Its very important to wear the gloves supplied otherwise you will cut your palm like I did.We managed to get it open 2 more times, each time causing everyone in the room to run for cover. Its fast, its quick, and if your facing one of the edges it can easily put an eye out.The reason why I am rating this 5 stars however is because it is exactly what it says it is and works exactly how it claims to work, albeit a bit more "aggressively" than I had anticipated. Use the gloves, give yourself A LOT of room (especially when first time using it), and NEVER point it at your face.Hopefully yours turns out to be more worthwhile than mine however which is now sitting in one of my drawers like a live hand grenade Im too afraid to touch.

NOT A TOY!! Very dangerous!
My 10 year old son begged me to buy this for him. I didn’t realize how dangerous this was until it arrived! I tested it and we figured out how to use it. I gave him the green light and he used it multiple times with no problems, until this morning. As he was “detracting” it and putting the pin in, it slipped and expanded and hit him right above the eye. The metal is so thin that it cut him and left him with a small welt right above his eye. DO NOT GET THIS FOR KIDS!! Had this hit him a 1/2 inch lower he could have permanently damaged his eye. This is very dangerous and I thought since he learned how to use it he would be fine but accidents happen. He wanted this so bad but after this happened he took it upon himself to throw it in the trash because he knew how serious this could have been. In fact, don’t buy this at all. It’s cheap junk.

A good bit of fun.
A cheap prop but a good prop. Fun. Mind the sharp edges and scratching the enamel.

Difficult to use, easy to cut your finger open
What can I say? It comes with gloves for a reason. They have no grip though, so I took them off to close it. Obviously that didn't go well. Easy to become unraveled and a b!7ch to put back together. Hard as a steel pole if you can open it in a jiffy, sure. Would not buy again, but hey it was $12.
