Pose!: 1,000 Poses for Photographers and Models

As an amateur photographer I am asked by my 'sitters' how to or can you recommend a certain type of pose, with this book there are multiple poses to suit all types in many different situations, I have found it useful on many occasions to give it to a potential 'sitter' prior to the action of the shoot, it saves me time and helps the subject decide what they can contribute to the finished article.

Great little book oriented towards the workaday needs of a professional photographer or model, or those who aspire to that living. Rather than dwelling on theory it takes a "here's a pose, go and shoot it" approach. The book is very sensibly structured around today's photography market: female client wants fitness photos? here's some ideas. No doubt in five years time the genres will be horribly dated but for today it works just fine. Peppered with valuable if prosaic tips like how to show off a handbag, together with advice for the learner about how to learn quickly. High art it ain't but that's not why I bought it. As a photographer, learning to pose a model can be daunting: this is a good place to start.

Well presented publication, relevant if your interest is largely about young beautiful people. I was hoping for more about everyday people either as singles or in groups. On reflection this is probably a different topic, so be aware.

Finally I can learn how to pose for my picture. I never know how to stand or sit for my pictures.its very good book I love it

I've started taking portraits only to realise I know nothing about posing. This book solves that problem.

From other reviews, I thought this was going to be a good book. It was fine, although smaller than I expected. It just didn't have enough for me compared with books that I already had, so I returned it. It's not a book you could give to a prospective model in advance of a shoot and say, which poses do you like? It's general, not specialist enough for say model's poses.

This book has EVERYTHING! I mean engagement, couples, boudoir, regular poses, fashion, odd ones too. I find it's a great resource and has been really helpful. There's a lot of poses for Male, females or both!

Buen libro para los que empezamos con temas de fotografía y que buscamos ideas para tomar fotografías de personas. Está padre la división de temas, ya sea poses de mujeres, hombres, niños, familia, etc. También hay buenas explicaciones sobre lo que puedes y no debes de hacer.

Muito prático e didático e bastante conteúdo.

Muy útil. De los mejores libros de poses que he visto nunca.
