Union Coffee | Peru Balcones Coffee Beans | Light Roast | Pack of 1kg

While this isn’t the union brand I used as my in-house brand I chose revelation this is a light tasty and versatile blend that suits espresso americano and all the milky variants, my wife and I start our day with a longa and a noisette before grinding up some thing more eclectic for the morning break. I like union coffee and I like this blend.

Not as light as I expected, from a specialty coffee. But for most on Amazon it probably is. It has nice, clean taste with fruit and biscuit hint . alongside a classic chocolate espresso notes and smooth body.I would say that’s a medium roast! Even with strong white light, the handful pictured doesn’t look that light.

Part of my hunt for a light roast coffee i like. This is more a medium roast and its hard to pick out flavour notes. Wont buy again

It’s been really handy having larger bags of coffee. We drink coffee a lot and this is much better for easy storage too. The coffee itself has a great tone, Lovely for first thing in the morning! Packaging makes for fresh beans.

This coffee is excellent.I've spent the last six months trying many different coffees, trying to find a coffee with that extra special something.Well now I've found it, these coffee beans are wonderful, they have a lovely full, rounded flavour but without the bitterness you often get. Now I'm going to have to make myself a coffee.

I love this bean but just received a bag from Amazon and it was roasted 3 months ago so presumably stuck in their warehouse for ages!

I have been trying different union coffee products over recent months and this one has blown my tastebuds away!The subtlety of the flavours and richness of the coffee means I keep making espresso from this not to dilute the flavour in a latte or cappuccino! Lovely coffee!

I received beans that were a year past their best before date, which is pretty appalling. Unfortunately, I only discovered that after reading a review posted by someone else that commented about having received a short dated item and, on checking my recently opened bag, discovered my problem. The beans had a lovely smell in the bag, but the taste was rather musty, which is probably down to being so old. I won’t make the same mistake again and will check all future beans I receive, but it does appear that this brand is sending out very short dated stock (or worse) and I am not sure I want to try any more now.
