Brilliant! Didn't even know these existed!
⭐Highly recommend!⭐ This UNI USB-C to Ethernet adapter is a game-changer for anyone who needs a fast, reliable internet connection for their laptop, especially when Wi-Fi is weak or unavailable. The build quality is fantastic—it feels solid and well-made, not flimsy like some cheaper alternatives. Performance: I've used it with my MacBook Pro and the connection is rock-solid. I'm getting consistently high speeds, and there's no lag or drop-outs, which is crucial for things like video calls and large file transfers. It's truly plug-and-play; I didn't need to install any drivers. Design: The design is sleek and the braided cable is a nice touch, giving it extra durability. The small size also makes it super easy to toss in my laptop bag without taking up much space. If you're looking for a simple, effective, and reliable way to get a wired connection for your USB-C device, don't hesitate to buy this one. It's a bit more than the no-name brands, but the performance and quality are worth every penny. 👍 Pros: Excellent build quality Blazing-fast, stable connection True plug-and-play functionality Durable braided cable Cons: None so far! Overall: 5/5 stars. A must-have accessory.

UNI ethernet to USB-C adaptor - a success story
I have poor Wi-Fi connectivity in my house and decided to test connectivity using a wired ethernet connection on my Microsoft Laptop 4 with Windows 10. When I did a speed check with the USB-C adaptor connected this came up with the old Wi-Fi speeds. I ran a Windows update and this downloaded Realtek driver 10.61.327.2024. After restarting the computer it recognised the ethernet connection. The speed now achieved fully matches my deal with Zen Internet. The little lights at the end of the unit are very useful for showing the adaptor is working. As a sideline, I am using a Cat 8 shielded ethernet cable in case I want to increase speed in the future. Otherwise a good quality Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable will probably suffice. I'd say this is an unqualified success. Thank you UNI.

Works on my M1 MacBook Air, but not at full gigabit upload speeds
It works on my M1 MacBook Air, no reboot needed (unlike Apple's own USB Ethernet adapter, oddly enough). The speed is not incredible, though, on my gigabit ethernet network if manages 980Mbps down (only 660 if WiFi is also running), 750 Mbps up (282 Mbps with WiFi running) using Librespeed on a local server to test, whereas the same adapter on my Linux-powered LG Gram 17 gets a full 985Mbps both ways, so there seems to be an upload bottleneck in Apple's drivers. It's clearly not the manufacturer's fault, but if you are a Mac user, I'd suggest you look elsewhere if performance matters to you. Also, the product description is misleading, this is a USB-C adapter, not Thunderbolt.

Does the job perfectly
Connects quickly and there is no hassle or setup involved. Has 2 small LED's for information too. Feels durable due to the braided cable and metal outer construction. I've found it to be compatible on both of my laptops and my phone.

Does what it is meant to do,
With apologies to people who make these things, I don't want to notice my network adapter. I want to plug one end into the computer, one end into the cable, and forget all about it. And this is scores pretty well for that. With Windows 10 there is no need to add any drivers. I plugged it in and connected the cable, after a couple of seconds the LEDs started flashing and off we went. Copying between two machines I could get about 400MBit/sec one way and 600MBit/Sec the other way which is roughly the limit of two hard disks (one is slowed more by Anti-virus scans than the others). So the trough put is as expected. It seems well made (plastic, but not cheap and nasty) we'll see how long it stands up. But taking takes less time to set up than to read this review is why I give it top marks overall. Edit. I bought it intending to use it with the Surface Studio Laptop I had on order and which was delivered yesterday. Whether it's the surface hardware or Windows 11 I don't know but the device was not happy - reporting USB device failures - until I updated the driver for it from Windows Update. Since then (touch wood) it has been happy again and giving peak throughput of over 900Mbit/sec. So not quite as trouble free but on the plus side changing the driver gave much better speed

Great Connector, and amazing cost
Brilliant, connected my iPhone to BT hub instantly. Highly recommended and at such a really amazing cost. Well made seems it should last if carefully used.

Reliable and Portable: uni USB C to Ethernet Adapter
This little uni USB C to Ethernet Adapter has been a lifesaver! I needed a reliable way to connect my laptop to a wired network when Wi-Fi was spotty (or non-existent!), and this adapter did the trick. What I loved: Plug-and-play simplicity: No driver installation needed! I just plugged it into my laptop's USB-C port and it worked instantly. Fast and stable connection: I got a much faster and more stable connection than with Wi-Fi, which was crucial for downloading large files and video calls. Compact and portable: It's small and lightweight, so it easily fits in my laptop bag and doesn't weigh me down. Durable build: It feels well-made and sturdy, so I'm not worried about it breaking easily. Could be better: Cable length: The cable is a bit short, which might be inconvenient for some setups. An extra few inches would be helpful. Overall: If you need a reliable and portable way to connect your USB-C device to a wired network, the uni USB C to Ethernet Adapter is a great option. It's easy to use, provides a fast and stable connection, and is built to last. Highly recommended!

Reliable, works as expected
When connected directly to the USB-C, it provides the full 1Gb, so make sure you don't use any adapter in between, as that will lower the throughput to a third, most probably.
