Great camping grill! Loved this for my camping trips! This is a pretty good product. I've tried a bunch of products and this seems to be as good as all the others that I've tried. Based on the price and the quality I can recommend it. I didn't have any issues.

This is a great tool to use for making toast while camping, living off grid, or during a power outage (provided that you have a camp stove). Personally, I want toast with eggs for breakfast and I prefer dry toast over toast cooked in a fry pan. This allows me to have that, and I am thankful! Love this!

This is a lightweight versatile grill and a perfect companion to a portable camp stove. The manufacturer thought through the design well. You can configure it in many different ways to change the way you cook. I personally don't use it for the toast (though that works well), the grill part gets used a lot and it lets you do kabobs and other stuff.Its probably too bulky for the ultralight world but if you're hiking/camping and not trying to be utlralight and want some more versatility this is perfect. I even use it when car camping if I'm cooking solo, let everyone else fight over the fire or large grill and I just set up my small camp grill and get my meal nice and perfectly cooked.

This toaster reminds me of old patent diagrams from the 1800's but it is thoroughly modern. My mom had a similar toaster in a circular design that was used on camping trips over sixty years ago and this brought back memories of homemade jelly and warm toast as we waited for the breakfast casserole to cook in the Dutch oven.There is something about toast that seems to fit with every meal. A sandwich made with toast is always better! As a breakfast item it is required with chipped beef gravy, a meal well-known by it other name, SOS. It may have been served too often but it is a guaranteed belly filler and perfect for a cold morning.This will enhance your car camping experience as an alternative to biscuits. Note that you will probably burn a few pieces until you get the feel of toasting bread like your great-grandmother did and you must pay attention to it during the cooking process. But, the results will be so worth it.Go ahead a toast a few more pieces and make that egg and bacon sandwich for a late morning snack. In summary, this is just a fun gadget that will bring joy to older campers and simply amaze the younger ones. Every Boy/Girl Scout will want one of these after seeing it in action.I tested this on a Coleman two burner camp stove. I set the burner to just a bit above low.

I had been wanting a toaster for my camp stove for some time and kept putting it off. Finally ordered this one. Tried it on a camping trip last week. I have to say I am not impressed so far. First of all, I freely admit I stupidly had the heat up too high when I initially put the unit on the flame. It immediately torched the thin screen and made a huge discoloration. But it did not burn through or seem to do any real damage other than cosmetic. I adjusted the flame to as low as possible (very tricky to keep a propane camp stove lit at that level) but it still seemed to be heating unevenly. I tried turning the slices on the side as well but it just didn’t do a very satisfactory job. Also there are no instructions with the disassembled pieces. It’s easy enough and there is a picture on the box front. But it shows a U-shaped piece on the box that appears to insert into a hole at the edge. There is no such hole in the unit for that thing to attach to, so I don’t know what it’s for. Didn’t need it anyway. With practice, I’m sure I could get better results, but honestly, I had been doing just fine tossing a piece of bread into a hot skillet without butter and just flipping it in a timely fashion. I think I’d rather stick with the simple method and also skip the extra clutter of packing that device. It’s probably not all that bad an item but I personally will not use it.

Ein sehr praktischer, kleiner Toaster für Campingurlaube. Das Packmaß ist schön klein und leicht. Er hat Platz für zwei große Toastsscheiben oder 2-3 Brötchen.Wird mich ab jetzt auf meinen Touren begleiten.

Ich habe diesen Artikel für Testzwecke kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen. Meine Bewertung wird dadurch nicht beeinflusst; ich werde im Folgenden meine ehrliche Meinung kundtun.Bisher hatte ich im WoMo einen Toaster für den Gasherd, auf dem eine Scheibe Platz fand. Das sorgt bei mehreren Personen an Bord natürlich für gewisse Verzögerungen. Nun fand ich bei Amazon den Bestargot Camping Grill und Toaster, der Platz für zwei Scheiben (oder aufzubackende Brötchen) bietet. Auch soll das Gerät als Grill für kleine Teile wie Würstchen benutzt werden können. Das Toasten habe ich ausprobiert - es klappt tatsächlich sehr gut, ist nur anfangs etwas fummelig, da die Gitter dachförmig aufgestellt werden, was für eine gleichmäßigere Wärmeverteilung am Brot sorgt. Doch dadurch ist auf einer Seite des Daches ein kleiner Überstand, der das Wenden der Toastscheiben etwas erschwert. Mit etwas Gewöhnung ist das jedoch kein ernsthaftes Problem. Das Grillen mit oben quer aufgelegtem Rost habe ich nicht probiert und werde dies auch sicher nie tun, da ich mir die Sauerei auf dem Herd durch tropfendes Fett gar nicht ausmalen mag. Auch dürfte dann auf dem glühenden Netzgewebe die eine oder andere Stichflamme entstehen. Lieber nicht...Als reiner Toaster: Top und extrem flach und kompakt zusammenklappbar. Wie gemacht fürs Camping. ;-)

Fürs Camping gibt es alle möglichen und unmöglichen Dinge und das meiste davon braucht man nicht, aber dieser Toaster/Grillaufsatz ist ein wirklich pfiffiges Teil!Geliefert wird es in einem kleinen, flachen Beutel - Maße: 20x16x1,5cm. Das nimmt kaum Platz weg und wiegt obendrein so gut wie nichts. Ausprobiert habe ich es auf einem Gasherd (diese klassischen Gaskocher, die im Kunststoffkoffer daherkommen). Der Aufsatz wird einfach nur aufgeklappt, das Gitter je nach Verwendung angebracht, und dann kann`s auch schon losgehen. Angefangen habe ich mit Toast: die Toastscheibe/n wird/werden einfach aufgelegt, gewendet, fertig. Das ging ruckzuck und war eine echte Offenbarung: bisher war ich immer mit diesem O*nia Ofen unterwegs und Brötchen aufbacken geht, nur Toast bekommt man in dem Ding nicht unter, deswegen: voilà, der Toast ist fertig. Von dem von mir bevorzugten Toast (hat man vielleicht bemerkt) aber mal abgesehen, haben wir auf diesem Aufsatz auch Würstchen gegrillt und auf ihm Glühwein warm gehalten. Wirklich ein Allrounder-Talent.Der kleine Klapp-Freund ist multifunktional, klein und leichtgewichtig und hat sich damit seine Fahrkarte für die nächste Tour auf jeden Fall verdient!

Dieser Grill / Toasteraufsatz für Hobogrill oder Zeltofen passt perfekt und lässt sich einfach aufbauen.Die Funktion ist gegeben.Packmaß und Gewicht sind nichts für einen langen Rucksackausflug. Wobei ich auch niemanden kenne, der seinen Zeltofen Kilometerweit in einem Rucksack durch die Gegend trägt.Die Teile sind gut verarbeitet. Keine scharfen Gräte.

Ich habe eine zweiten, runden Toastaufsatz für meinen Kartuschen-Kocher. An dem hier bewerteten Modell hat mir seine kompaktere Bauweise gefallen und dass man es auch nutzen kann um zB eine Mocca-Maschine auf den Gaskocher zu stellen, dass es nicht durchfällt.Der Toaster lässt sich sehr kompakt zusammen falten was mir gut gefällt. Außerdem sind die zwei Gitterroste so miteinander verbunden, dass man sich als fast ebene Fläche oben auflegen kann. Das ist echt clever gelöst.Beim Toasten habe ich es leider in zwei Sessions nicht geschafft, schönen Toast zu bekommen. Zu schnell wird die Feuer-nahe Seite verbrannt. Es ist dem System natürlich geschuldet, dass es nicht gleichmässig ist, dass sei ihm verziiehen. Aber da hier durch das Metallnetz offenbar auch bei kleiner Flamme so viel Hitze kommt, ist es extremer. Der Vergleich-Toaster hatt eine Metall/Blechfläche stattdesen, was wohl die Hitze besser leitet. Dadurch kann ich auch einfacher den Toast mit den Fingern wenden. Das würde ich bei diesem Modell tunlichst unterlassen, es wird doch sehr heiß.Fazit. vielleicht für schwächere Hitze (hobo) eine gute Lösung. Ich war doch eher frustriert vom ungleichmässigen Bräunen und dem schnellen Verbrennen.Da tröstet mich auch das praktische Packmaß und der Zusatznutzen für meine Mocca-Maschine nicht.
