Fantastic app assisted card game
This game is great 👍 the whole family loves it, and with 4 different game modes it still hasent gotten old yet, even after a dozen or more plays. The app is good too, i would say great but it wont work right on some phones

Could be worse
This is an okay game. Sometimes the scanning feature of the app doesn't work well, which is a bummer. It's easy to learn and quick to play though, which makes it a good game for when time is short.

Fun game at 2 and 8 players
This was a fast, fun filler game. I love the fact that you can have up to 8 players. It’s rare to have something with such a high player count. There was different game modes too, so it feels like you are getting more than one game in the box.The main game component is the huge stack of item cards. Each item has a year, which is important to pay attention to as each card has a cash value based on how much that item was that year. Each person is dealt 7 cards. Now you open the free app (this is a need to play) and pick one of the games options. Most of the options feel like a version of some of the Price is Right games. The one we played the most was “Price Target” where the game starts you with a monetary amount that you want to get to as close as you can, without going over. You then draft one item card at time, passing the rest. Eventually you’ll think you have the right total, as will everyone else at the table. Then you get one of the most satisfying scoring methods where you get to scan your item cards- each giving you the classic scanner beep. In the end, it will rank you in order of closest to farthest away, granting you points. So easy! This is a great game I think anyone, at any level of gaming, could pick up and start playing. Now, I’d probably say this is for a little bit older (teenagers) or someone who is has a concept of buying items/groceries. Or even understanding that waaaaay back in the day, stuff use to be a quarter versus five dollars.I really like how quick it was to teach, setup, and play. It also had instuctions of what to do (see pic) on each game start screen. It saves me from having to dig back through the rule book. The high player count is great! It was perfect to keep players busy while other gaming tables were finishing their games. This one got a few laughs, people were surprised about how far off they were on their item prices. I love the replayability, you never find out the prices so it’s always a mystery. And there are TONS of card options. Even with 8 players we didn’t use the whole deck. Music in the app was great! They added numbers so if the QR codes weren’t scanning, you could bypass it.A few (minor) things I didn’t like. It was confusing with the countdown of passing and picking up your cards. For some reason- we couldn’t seem to match up to the countdown. We were also on a long rectangular table- so not everyone could reach the device to signal that it was time to pass. Or reach the coupons. There was also the one person who liked to take their sweet time, and not pass in the alloted amount of time. They would clog up the flow of the game. We came up with a house rule that they lost the card they would have selected that round, but even then it didn’t deter them.Overall it was a great addition to my collection. Even Grandma and Grandpa are interested in playing it. I think they might have leg up on us for some of the eras- but it’s still always close at the end. And those are the best types of games.

Fun game with good replay ability!
This was a fun game to play with the family. It was easy to learn and quick to play, making it a great weeknight game or you could play several rounds on the weekend. The illustrations are beautiful, with a vintage feel and it ties in with the various years included in the item descriptions of the products. Since the product cards don’t have prices printed, this game can be played many times as you are simply guessing the cost of each item. This does require the download of a companion app to work, but it’s simple and free, so it doesn’t add to the cost. I’d love to see a product expansion pack released just for more variety but you can still play plenty of times with just the cards included. Definitely worth adding to your game cabinet.

Bright and colorful shopping fun!
I bought this game back in November and have played it a few times now. I like all the different ways you can play the game; gives a lot of variety in one game. The retro artwork is beautiful from the individual product cards to the characters who look straight out of the 1950's! I was not sure how I would like the use of my phone with the board game but it really worked well, especially where it acts like a cashier for you to check out your products. There are a lot of different products from a huge time range, and this keeps the game interesting as there are many combinations that can help you win. I am happy I bought this game and think it is a great purchase.

Growing up watching The Price Is Right will help...
Really think this is quite the clever card game. Struggling to guestimate the value of products based off the era in time posted is really tricky, but makes for a really fun Price is Right style gameplay. Plus the app integration is wonderful, and makes for a really fun experience! Would highly recommend checking this game out, people will have a ton of fun with it!
