A large gash
It would have been perfect, but for a large gash across the top of the wood. It almost looks like someone took a knife to it. It's for a Christmas decoration, so I am not sending it back, and I have tried to improve the colour at least, which has improved it a little, but it does spoil the effect of a otherwise attractive piece. Maybe you'll have more luck.

Dangerous
Loved the idea of this. However, when I lit my candles, the wax dripped down and the wood caught fire. Luckily I spotted it but when I tried to put it out with water it sparked no idea what the wood is treated with. I would never recommend only one star because I couldn't give it zero
