Vault-Tec SubPac S2 Seatback Tactile Audio System (Fall-Out Limited Edition)

This is the seatback, not the wearable pac. I have a psvr and wanted to see what it could do. First of all this is expensive, not cheap. Does it work? Darn right skippy! You place this in your chair, so you sit not stand. You connect your headphones in the jack, the other cable to your source (they give that with the unit). I was impressed with the effect. Its like sitting on a speaker and feeling the sound. The downside (?) Is your headphones are set at a certain level to protect your hearing. That way you cant crank it up. If your a bass head, wow. It also picks up smaller tones. I played disco music from the 80/90s and it did great. For video games I played arizona sunshine, thors hammer 2, farpoint, and eletronauts on it . Wow. Anytime you fire or reload your weapon you can feel it. There was a cardboard box on the outside of the subpac box . It says fallout4 bethesda. This was a limited edition for video games company. So play your games on it. Now the downside is the price, and they give you the power cables for different countrys. I dont travel much so more stuff for the cable box. Subpac needs to lower the price. Upside is feel the game /music/movie. I tried 3d movies . Wow. Like being in the theater. One thing that happened is I began to sweat. After 30 mins of games/movies I took a break. Dont know if this from unit heating up or too much sensation. Your body becomes the transmitter of the sound. Each person is different, so different effect. This happened when I turned the unit up to max sensations. If you are hearing impaired or like me, old and have hearing loss go for it this unit straps to your chair not you back. Its a little bit bigger then the other model so if your wanted too you could put in a backpac or strap it to you. I also noticed if you want to mix music you can feel the lower notes you cant hear/feel. My final rewiew is this. You can wait untill price drops , or just fork it. Amazon needs to take the picture down. Go to you tube to see what it looks /feels like. Each person is different. This is subjective. Me, im gonna kill zombies in arizona sunshine.

It works for 4 weeks and now is stop working. This is my 3rd unit from this company. I love this thing when is working but it just don’t last, the one before it last 3 months. I write this review to give people head up that the unit is awesome when they work but they just don’t last very long.

Bought it for my race rig for sim racing and Can’t get it to work with PS4 and can’t find anything helpful on YouTube or google to get it working. Complete waste of money and will join the dust collection in my closet. Junk!

Everyone who's tried this thing loves it. Never used it for gaming, just music listening, but it is definitely a crowd pleaser!

What a bargain MSRP for a subpac is $299Plus I’m a huge fallout fan so it’s a bonus.

The photo listeded is not the actual product delivered. The photos show the wearable version however the version recieved it the chair version. Misleading and dissapointing to say the least.
