Connected effortlessly to my phone via bluetooth...once I figured out what their device was called, after some trial and error (comes up as WC-BS01, in the event this can help someone else). Once I figured that out, connects every time without any issue. Speaker quality is good enough for my use (I use it in my office so I don't have to be subjected to the office music which consists of a loop that cycles between country, 70s kill-yourself-now love songs, and actual elevator music that some unsuspecting schlub likely thought was a jazz station). I don't have the volume turned up that much, so I can't give you insights into whether or not the base is or other sound elements are of high quality, but for my purposes, it sounds absolutely fine. It does have a decent range, so you don't have to be right next to the device to get it to work.The one gripe I have is in using the charger. Couple things on that front, and the reason I'm docking the product 2 stars...first, once on the charger, I'm reminded at regular intervals that my phone is close enough to charge, as if the device just recognized my phone was there. This hasn't been an issue with my phone actually being charged, it charges quickly, but the buzz (I have my phone on vibrate while at work) is a bit of an annoyance, and I imagine if my phone was not set to vibrate, that I'd get a notification sound like I do on my wireless charger at home, and if it did that every minute or two, that would be a total deal breaker. The second thing I've noticed while I'm charging, is that the phone, AND the charger platform gets H-O-T!!! I don't mean warm, I mean HOT!!! I've dealt with this by leaving my phone on the device for shorter periods of time, but I wouldn't recommend leaving your phone there if your battery life has dwindled down to single digit percentages, unless you're going to be there to occasionally pull it off to let it cool down...the first time this happened, my phone actually shut itself down. It does say in the product description that it has temperature control, but that's certainly not true in my experience! I think this may be a defect in the product, so maybe the company could respond to me about this? Maybe I got a lemon?In any case, it's a decent product overall. I would never use it as my primary charger, and it's not going to replace my stereo, but for what I needed it for, it seems to be doing the job. If I was just using it as a speaker, I'd have given it 5 stars, since it functions very well in that regard.

Just received the little speaker/charger, The nice appearance with high cost-effective surprised me. my iPhone X was charged easily. It charges fast and stable. Just 3 hours, my phone was full charge from 8% remained battery. I satisfy the fast charge. Both phone and charger would not heat up when charging. I can easily play music by using the bluetooth connection. It connects fast. I used it to play “ That girl”. The sound quality is clear and bass is strong enough. So comfortable to hearing. I am so satisfied with the high sound quality. The sound will not affected when charging. I wanna put it in my bedroom. Play bedtime music when charging. That’s a good idea!!

I orignally bought this for my son to keep him from stealing dad's charger and speaker. He loves it, takes to friends houses for overnights and has it on his bed. Since he told me that he loved it, I bought one for my desk at work. I like that it's all in one, speaker and charger. The only drawback that I had was I noticed that if you leave it on there too long, it does get a little hot.

The speaker is convenience to bring with me, it is with a battery so I don't need to plug it in to keep it work, and in the bedroom, I could charge my iPhone X easily as just put it down to the surface, the most important is, the sound quality is really perfect.

When the iPhone is in place to charge it actually "walks" itself off the speaker. Sound or not sound, it vibrates off. To make matters worse, the charge time is Much, Much slower than what a USB charge takes. The quality of the speaker is good when it works, but mostly it cuts out words. I listen to a lot of books and when the reader states "chapter N" the word "chapter" doesn't come through. Then about every 10th word is dropped.

This little speaker/charger works great. I really wasn’t expecting much since the price was so low but the sound is clear and the charger works great even with the protective case on my phone.I wish it could be louder as I love my music very loud. But I’m happy!!’

Bought hoping to use it on my desk. It will not charge my Iphone. I have placed it on there several times and it keeps going from home screen to charging screen running down the battery instead of charging it. When I can get it to stop and actually charge the phone it only charges 2% in over an hour. Will be returning and finding another option.

I just love the simplicity.....
