The assembly can take a minute, I recommend you take our the string of lights first totally, lay them in a row on the floor, take a seat, and start clipping the stakes on. Once you get a pattern down, you'll get them all done fast.The lights look very lovely in a row, I've set mine along my path and along the driveway. I'd recommend them for sure, though, so long as you can be sure not to step on them.

UPDATE: A day after I took the pics for this review (and only 3 days after installing the lights) I noticed a a few more bulbs were much brighter than the rest, the next day those bulbs were dead. 5 in total including the one I mention in the original review below. I had to buy a replacement set of bulbs at the same cost of this set. Granted I got frosted LED bulbs that are better than what was included. I still think this is an OK set, and worth it if you're planning on replacing the bulbs (I was), but I would have expected the included bulbs to last longer. I give these 3.5 stars if I could, .5 star deducted for the poor bulb quality and 1 for the misleading stake height. Read the original review below...These light look nice, were easy to install and I like the fact I can replace/swap out bulbs if needed (I might get some flame LED bulbs for it). One bulb was running hot and was very bright, this set did include an extra bulb so I just swapped it out.Main drawback is that the stakes need to go all the way in the ground, they're not raised as the images suggest. If you're looking for ground level lights these will fit the bill perfectly, if you're looking for raised path lights you'll want to keep looking...I may put up a little garden style fence on the yard side of these to prevent anyone from stepping on em, but all in all I do like the way they look and having replaceable bulbs is what I was looking for.

If you forgot to check like I did, this is your reminder that these are incandescent bulbs. Nice clear warm white glass C9 incandescents. Works great, all lights work. The stakes are easy to attach and will look great lining the driveway or path. Odd that it didn't come with at least one replacement bulb, but it is what it is.Honestly though, for this price.....you can get an attractive set of stabilized LED lights for less money and then you won't t have to worry about the electricity bill or burning your house down.

These lights are perfect for lining walkways. The assembly with the stakes is a little time consuming. But once you have them put together, the lights are bright and stay firmly in the ground. I’m ordering more to line my driveway. Definitely recommend.

I like these a lot. For Christmas they'll make a great decoration and it'll be a lovely way to light up my walk when people visit. The bulbs are bright, the lights came well insulated. But... the initial picture I saw shows lights that are on a stake that stands out of the ground. These have to go in pretty far. That makes them more like ground lights instead of border lights. My biggest problem with that is that unless they stay on from sun up to bedtime, there's a chance someone will stop on them. Even if they are on, someone might step on them in the daylight if they aren't paying attention.I'm pretty sure the safest place to use these will be as a garden border because anywhere else runs the risk of broken bulbs or cut feet.

These lights are a great addition to our outdoor decorations! I love how big and bright the bulbs are. All the bulbs are working properly. An extra bulb also comes with the set. The bulbs come wrapped in foam, so they are well protected. The stakes are easily installed in the ground, and they hold up really nicely.The only negative is that there are no instructions on how to attach the bulbs to the stakes. It took me a few minutes to figure it out! Once I did figure it out, they were relatively easy to attach.I would absolutely buy these lights!
