This item is very functional! It is compact,it does a very good job of taking the lids off!It saves spillage as it does the work for you and it keeps you from getting your hands cut trying to prise ofthe lids! All in all a very good. Product!

Works really well. Turn it on, leave it alone, come back, and the tin is opened. Perfect.

Was a handy little gadget for about 2 months. Now it has stopped working. I wouldn't by again or recommend anyone else to buy.

Does what it says on the use directions does work on ring pull cans but found needs to be done twice as indicated on directions over well worth the money and prevents possible cut fingers reccomened good price

If you suffer with joint pain or with a thumb joint issue, like me and are unable to rotate a normal can opener then this product is definitely for you! I can highly recommend this opener for its ease to use!It is so simple now to open cans that I am no longer restricted to finding those only with the opening tab on the top.After opening the can top it also burrs the sharp edges whilst cutting so that there is no chance of cutting yourself when removing the lid - brilliant.An absolute must have in the kitchen - to the point that I have had friends and family comment and gone on to buy one for my sister in law and my mother in law who were both struggling like me to open cans - Not now!!

Doesn't always work, doesn't seem powerful enough even with brand new batteries - will be ordering something different.

One button operation with auto stop when done...very cool. No problem opening any can and leaves a smooth edge. Nice looking solid design. Good battery life. Great value for the money.

L'ouvre boite fonctionne bien mais dommage que la livraison était médiocre : le livreur n'a même pas sonné alors que nous étions présents et le colis a été balancé par dessus le grillage au lieu d'être déposé à l'intérieur de notre très grande boîte aux lettres. Heureusement que l'appareil n'était pas cassé. Nous avons dû le chercher dans le jardin parmi les rosiers et les mauvaises herbes.

I received this can opener for Christmas, so I haven't had a lot of experience with it. However, so far it has been great. It seems sturdy enough, but I am a bit concerned with the battery cover. When I opened it to add batteries, I was concerned that I might snap off part of the plastic cover. However, it didn't break but it did make me a bit nervous. We'll see how it fares over time.Overall, it is easy to use. You simply position the opener over the rim of the can and press the button. The opener is a bit noisy and it does take a while for the opener to complete the opening process. When opening is complete, the opener shuts off automatically. Although there is a magnet on the opener, lifting the opener does not lift off the lid. You must manually apply a little bit of force to pop the can lid off the can. So far, I love it. It reliably opens the can and leaves no sharp edges on the can.
