Great flavour with added bonus of big caffeine kick
Best tasting coffee that I've ever had.I usually find coffees too bitter to be enjoyable, but thought I'd give Cannonball a try and I am so glad that I did. It has a really smooth, rich flavour without being bitter at all, love it. The big caffeine kick is definitely an added bonus and gets me moving in the morning.

Very strong, tastes OK.
A very strong coffee, I have a pretty decent Caffeine tolerance but one cup a day is definitely more then enough.I am rating it a 4 as a didn't feel the taste was all its cracked up to be according to their marketing campaign.

Strong and tastes great
I ordered this as a last minute thing as I ran out of my usual ground coffee. It arrived next day delivery (09/09/20) and I had my first cup this morning (10/09/20).I can safely say I will be making this my new usual. The taste was a lot more subtle and smooth than what I'd bought before and the kick it gave me as my morning get up and go lasted right through till midday.A company and coffee I would recommend to everyone!

Great Story, But Lacks the Promised Punch
While I am a person who appreciates a good narrative behind a product, a strong narrative should not overshadow the product's actual performance. This is exactly the case with the "Maximum Charge" from Cannonball Coffee. The founder's story is indeed engaging, with an ex-British Army member turned coffee enthusiast at the helm, and a company that takes pride in its commitment to creating high-caffeine, great-tasting coffee for active lifestyles. The brand's marketing is robust, evoking imagery of explosive power and unyielding strength. However, these elements do not compensate for what I found to be the product's shortfalls. The product markets itself as a "super strong coffee", suggesting a high caffeine content, and even positions itself as a pre-workout drink. However, in my experience, the coffee's strength was underwhelming. The company does provide a laboratory test certificate, dated 9th February 2022, on its website, indicating a certain level of transparency and dedication to quality (an older test certificate appears to be attached to its product listing here on Amazon). Yet, I question whether the product's caffeine content has remained consistent over time. During my approximate trial period from 20th April 2023 to 14th May 2023, I did not find this coffee to be particularly potent. Moreover, the taste of the coffee was disappointingly flat. Despite the brand's promise of a "smooth & mellow taste", I found it to be overly subdued to the point of lacking character. I tried packing more coffee in my brew to bolster its strength and flavour, but to no avail. The coffee still tasted monotonous, lacking the depth and richness I was anticipating. One positive aspect of this product is its price point, which I found to be more reasonable compared to some competitors, such as 'Black Insomnia' Extreme Caffeine Coffee, also available on Amazon. However, this competitor makes bold claims about being the "Strongest Coffee in the World for Maximum Energy", but, unlike Cannonball Coffee, does not provide any test certificate to back up their claim. In conclusion, despite the compelling story behind the brand and its founder, the product itself did not meet my expectations. It lacked the robust strength and full-bodied flavour that I was anticipating based on the product's description and marketing. While I can commend the company for its transparency and the founder's commitment to providing a quality product, I believe that more work needs to be done to ensure that the coffee's strength and taste consistently live up to the brand's claims. For now, I will be looking elsewhere for my caffeine fix.

great for those tired mornings
Hi Duncan, thank you for the great service, and keep up the good work as this coffee is very Good indeed! Sting on the pallet but not as strong on the pallet on other strong coffee beans I’ve had and this is stronger coffee so your doing something right that it’s still palatable and strong with nice distinct flavours

Activates your bowels and gives you energy, taste is so and so.
Taste: Opposite of Arabica. Not bitter, more towards an Alkaline flavor if it's lightly filtered. If you have a strong filter, the taste is almost non existent which can be a good thing.Jitters: Have not experienced them yet and i've had up to 2 strongly brewed cups.Energy: Regardless of brewing method, this coffee does wake me up. And i'm one of those people who is chronically tired. This coffee does it for me.Bowels: This coffee consistently and abnormally activated my bowels several times a day the first week i had it. On the second week it activate my bowels ~ once a day, 2 times max. Very nice cleansing effect.-If brewed incorrectly, will have almost no taste. It will still give you a normal level of energy.

AMAZING!
Ok first let's start by saying that I do NOT sleep a whole lot generally and I've been actively looking for something to give me a good kick as I work a lot AND I work from home so a lot of sitting on a chair/bed (which makes you even more prone to wanting to take a nap).I tried EVERYTHING. Coffee pills (upset my stomach even more so than actual coffee and was not really giving me a kick at all), lots of different coffee brands, energy drinks, vitamins, etc ... I'm the kind of guy who can literally sleep after drinking an energy drink. Now, this drink has been working great! It took me a minute to figure out the appropriate dosage when I used my machine (basically if you use a Delonghi espresso machine, the larger filter "tray" holds about 24g of coffee; this coffee holds 235mg of caffeine per 25g of coffee). I usually have 2 espressos in the morning around 5am and then another 2 around 1/2pm (never after 2pm otherwise you'll be in for an all-nighter).(NOTE: these are merely MY consumption habits, NOT recommendations)I'm not a coffee amateur so honestly, I cannot comment on the taste. I can just say that I personally use a straw as it's very much a dark drink and I use straws for all colorful drinks.I was getting upset at the amount of coffee grounds I was throwing in the bin but I found some DIY recipes to use them as exfoliators, hair/face mask so I guess that solves two problems in one. Hope this reviews is helpful to y'all :)
