Even though the title might be directed to writers, I am no writer and you found this workbook to be phenomenal to help enhancing my network. In professional life networking is as important as having a great resume and this book gives you different tools where you can build or enhance your networking.

Great resource for writers! Many of us are introverts, so having practical, actionable information on how to network effectively can make a big difference. I especially appreciate the emphasis on authentic relationships. The book's design is welcoming and accessible. Ruggeri knows how to network!

Most people think I'm an all-around extravert. Hah! It's hard to promote yourself and your writing. Few of us like to brag. Linda Ruggeri's handbook breaks it down, focusing on authentic relationships with people - people who may be searching for just the knowledge and expertise we possess.

I like how this book "reimagines" networking and provided advice on how writers today can effectively network. It begins by explaining two networks (small and trusted verus broad and dispersed) and how both kinds are useful and can be utilized.In the "Pitfalls" section, one piece of advice is "Learning to Fail Forward" which acknowledges that we do all make mistakes and how we can recover, then move forward.There are also workbook sections (see photos about creating meaningful content). Other examples include asssessing your own website and five or so similar websites in order to compare and contrast the benefits of each.As this book is targeted to writers, it includes a chapter about selling books (since that's what authors do).This thoughtful book is a must-have for writers and an ideal book for writer friends, writing groups, and so forth. It's small enough to not be overwhelming, yet is curated to provide what's need in a concise manner.

I loved this book! It's sometimes difficult to follow through on anything you learn from self help or networking books because as soon as you're done reading you forget more than half of it! This book has practical steps and worksheets so that you can figure out what you need to do and take action. It makes things simple and doable!
