I recently got the Mellif Cordless Buffer Polisher and it has exceeded my expectations. The cordless design offers incredible freedom of movement, making it perfect for detailing cars or boats without worrying about being tethered to an outlet. Being able to walk around the car without tripping over a cord or accidently dragging it across the cleaned car cannot be understated. The lithium battery adds some weight but it is well-balanced, so I can use it for extended periods without feeling fatigued.The included 6-inch pad size strikes a good balance between coverage and precision, and the brushless motor delivers consistent power. It runs smoothly and quietly, with minimal vibration, which is a big plus when working on delicate surfaces. It has an adjustable speed wheel convenient to the location of your thumb is a standout feature, allowing me to switch between gentle polishing and more aggressive buffing, depending on the task.It comes with their branded battery and charger (YES!) which has compatibility with Dewalt 20V MAX batteries as well. Since I already own Dewalt tools, I didn’t have to invest in new batteries or chargers. I also have adapters to Makita batteries that works well too. The battery life is decent, but for larger jobs, I recommend having a spare battery on hand. That is normal for large motor tools that spin at high speeds.Overall, this cordless buffer polisher is a fantastic tool that combines convenience, performance, and compatibility, making it a must-have for DIYers and professionals alike. This Polisher feels like a name brand, fit and finish are good, the battery feels well made and durable. Having a cordless option makes it much easier to work with, although the nature of these tools require you have at least one spare battery if you want to go over your whole vehicle as it drains the battery fast. So if you have 20v dewalt this is a great option! The speed selection is a must have and workd as it should.It comes with a second eccentric gear although I'm not sure whether it's a direct replacement or has a different throw then the installed one? The manual is seriously lacking in many regards, this just being one. Is the screw that retains the gear reverse thread or not? It's so tight I didn't want to risk stripping it to find out.The instructions state it has a variable speed trigger, but it is on-off. The vibration of this tool is fairly significant to the point I'd imagine a professional detailer that would be running this a few times a day or week would lose feeling in there arms after a while. The only comparison I have is an old black and decker Polisher that runs at 4400opm, but it's got less vibration than this.Overall with the shortcomings of this tool I still think this is a great product at this price especially if you have dewalt batteries to run this. Everything feels like a name brand tool, but that vibration is what knocks a star off for me.

This Mellif branded buffing 18v tool is a top quality battery tool. This is the second tool I have from Mellif and the other is very impressive as well. I have a lot of battery tools and am able to safely say that even though this brand is unknown in my market the quality of the tool is outstanding, plastic, overmold rubber on tool and battery, weight and function are very good for the price making this tool an excellent value with a current price of $80 it comes with a 4ah 20v battery, charger, tool and a few accessories for buffing and or sanding. This is a large tool at about 16" total with a large 6" pad and plenty of power. I'm looking forward to using it for waxing my vehicles! It's notable that this tool uses the dewalt clone battery, the battery does work with other dewalt tools or dewalt tool clones, but i was not able to get the charger to charge the 20v-60v dewalt battery though.

Don't get me wrong, this is a killer quality buffer. It's build like a freaking brick. Rock solid. But, with the battery attached, it just feels off balance because the battery is so far back AND weighs a ton. They do include an additional handle for this, but I feel that the forward most grip is better to counter balance the weight of the battery. I hate to deduct a star for this, because this is a super greatly built tool, but I did. It's variable speed, but the variability is in a knob, NOT in the trigger. The trigger is a discrete on/off; you have to turn a knob to change the speed. Great tool, though. 4 stars isn't a bad rating. Shift the battery up forward or make the battery lighter and you've got an easy, EASY five stars.
