KINGTEC 6.5A Belt Sander, 3 in. x 18 in. - with 2pcs Sanding Belt, Dust Bag, 6 FT Cord Length, KT11001 (3"x18") for DIY use

due to the shape of the motor housing it is impossible to place the unit so that it sands flush on one side to an adjoining piece of wood (that is connected at a right angle). it is loud but that can be addressed with earplugs. the final straw was reading in the owner's manual that it is not designed to operate in any orientation other than sanding a flat surface that is down to the sander. it appears to be too fragile for use verastility.

Gave it 2 stars for value, it was cheap. Ergonomic and Maneuverability? What? 2 stars. But all in all, this thing is junk. I bought it, used it on one project and the back roller has eaten more sandpaper than the wood. That thing managed to wear away to a cone shape (thinner on one end) so the paper just steady slides off into the inside of the track and just shreds apart. I don’t know how my technique of using a belt sander could have led to that outcome, so I’ll blame the quality of the roller being wack. It my first belt sander for my new shed, next time, I’ll spend more in hopes of getting a better one.

I was alittle apprehensive at first buying this sander without reviews. It turns out to be a very good handy machine at a very good price. I was able to get a rough spot of my wooden outdoor gate smooth out very quickly. The dust bag is awesome, i do not even need to wear a mask. Recommend it !

This belt sander broke after less than 1 minute of total sanding time. The sanding was light clean up of saw cuts and each use only lasted 5-10 seconds with many minutes between each use. After about 20 of these 5 second sandings, the machine started smoking and the belt stopped spinning. I knew that I was basically buying a disposable tool here, but I was expecting to get through at least one small project with it. Extremely disappointed. Will attempt to return it to Amazon.

Headline states it all... I purchased this as I refinishing some cabinets... you get what you pay for... held on to it for a few months before using then used it on one frame and one cabinet door.. after that it seized.

The sanding belt keeps rolling inwards from one side that I was barely able to sand my deck for 5 mins because by then the belt will clog the sander. I tried both belts, one that was already installed when given and the other that came with the sander.

Did even make it through the first project. A few minutes into sanding a 1x12 it jammed and hasn't worked right since 👎

hey it works good and for the price and what the others cost,,yea good deal for the buck
