Cat scratch post
This was not as big or sturdy as expected

A hard “meh.”
Bought this for my three month-old polydactyl kitten (he’s got extra toes), and it was too small for him. The pole is too skinny for even a normal cat to fit both paws on comfortably, and the base isn’t very sturdy or slip-resistant, so it moves all over the place on our hardwood floor. The cat doesn’t even recognize it as somewhere to scratch, so we had to get one from wilko, which ended up being twice as tall and sturdy for about £8. The only upside to this is the toy on top—which he made good use of. The attached photos show what the product looks like after about a month of toy-only use by one kitten. We still keep it out for him to play with alongside his wilko one.

Good product, does exactly as expected
Good product, after some other reviews I wanted to show a picture of the cat post after 2 weeks full use by 2 adult cats. It’s exactly as described, it doesn’t matter that it isn’t tall as they tend to roll around scratching with all 4 paws, they pull it over, drag it around and stand it up again! It’s withstood a lot of playing and keeps them from scratching furniture. It is made of natural fibres and shows a little wear but that’s what I’d expect, they aren’t designed to last forever and the fiver is better for their claws than other materials, I’ll definitely buy another when it’s had it’s day
