I just love this little Gingerbread house. The detail is just right and not over done. The quality was better than I expected, and no flaws in the finish. It lights up nice and isn't too bright, however it would be nice if you could shut the music off after a little while... The music does get on your nerves.

It's a nice gingerbread house. Very simple, not overly deorated or bright. The music can grind on your nerves after a while, but what's Christmas without music, right? It's good quality and painted well. I just wish it had more color to it. Maybe more green and decorations around the windows. Overall, it's nice and worth the $20.

Ok, so I ordered several Halloween light up items, from all different price ranges. Some had the options of 6 hour auto timer, battery + usb plug in, and just battery. Because I did not have the option of plug in where I wanted mine to go, I relied on strictly battery. The only one I tried (and wasn’t defective) that survived more than 2-3 days running on battery, was this ghost, and the others got returned. But, the ghost received the most compliments also, plus it was a good price point! I provided pics of the ghost at night and during the day.

I ordered the hot air balloon ghost lantern design, and am very pleased. The design itself is adorable, and would make a great addition for anyone who enjoys decorating with the not-so-spooky Halloween decor.The detail on the design is great, right down to the fangs on the cat and the staples in the balloon, and the painting of the piece is well done without the messy painting that you can often find on pieces like this. Even the blending and shading with the paint is well done.I had originally thought this lantern was solar powered, but when I went back I realized that the listing clearly states that it is not. It runs on AAA batteries, although since it is LED lighting I imagine the battery power should last a long time. The switch is a little strange with a soft silicone-type switch. It works ok, but sometimes takes a couple times to get it switched on or off. I do wish the light was a little brighter and maybe even a flicker pattern. I'm not sure if the dimness is a result of the balloon material being thick or the light bulb not being as bright, but you can only tell that it is lit up if the room is really dark. I took one star off for that issue, but even without the light it really is adorable.I haven't had the opportunity to test its outdoor ruggedness, as I keep this as a decoration indoors. It is breakable, so if you plan to keep it outside you'll just want to make sure you're careful if it gets too windy.All in all, this is a really cute Halloween decoration for anyone who likes to decorate on the less-spooky side, and it is a perfect gift for people who love hot-air balloons!

The media could not be loaded. I'll give it three stars for being cute but I was hoping to be able to have it light up and not hear the music. There's no way that I can listen to that music box Christmas music all the time. So sadly I will not be putting batteries in this for the Christmas season. It's cute as heck when it's lit up but that music gets on my nerves and I wish that I could just turn the music part off and leave it lit up. The switch is off or on, music and lights together. Also there's something broken inside of it so when I move it around it rattles :/

I love this goofy little hot air balloon ghost! It is really impressive how strongly it glows after dark.
