Strop Block with Green Chromium Oxide Compound has a great Nap for taking compound. It is very dense and sits on top of Red Oak which is extremely dense. Our leather is clean with no markings. Green Compound is an Industry Standard for High Cut / High Polish - Maintain Blade Edge without going to Stone. Your strop will be covered in Chromium Oxide as pictured. Also, we will include a tube of our Shop's "Stropping Compound". The Tube has .15oz of Chromium Oxide compound. Use gentle heat on the leather prior to applying compound and it melts right in. Easy to dispense and control the amount of compound you get on your strop.
