Possibly the best gluten-free toasting bread ever
Oh wow. I bought this hoping for great things, as gluten free bread can be a bit hit and miss, but having tried the various sliced loaves in the Newburn Bakehouse range I felt it was worth the extra cost to try something I'd not eaten in years. Mind thoroughly blown by how good this bread is, especially lightly toasted. You can add smashed avocado for the full Shoreditch experience, but I stuck to good butter and a bit of apricot jam. Trust me, if you have a coeliac in your life, they will love you for getting this.

This bread isn't great if having it as a sandwich, as it leaves a pappy taste and I found it hard to digest, it's better toasted.

Sourdough?
So picture the scene. Done my 1st Amazon Fresh delivery. It came whilst I was in a meeting. The main reason I did it was because they have Gail's Bakery bread. I doubt I would have bothered otherwise. Haven't had any for months and I've missed it. I go downstairs after my call and go straight for the bread. But instead something called Warburtons Gluten Free Artisan White Sourdough Cob. I check my email and the one thing they didn't have was the Gail's bread. How is Gluten Free bread a substitute for bread?I open it. Touch it, it's springy, not crispy. Nothing like Sourdough whatsoever. I slice it. Try it. The feel of it in my mouth is weird, not nice. I swallow and put the rest of the slice back in the bag, I won't touch that again. Can still taste it now. At least it was free.

Unbelievably good gluten free bread. Literally won’t eat anything else.Also it has a much longer shelf life than even normal bread.Definitely recommended.
