I bought these because I was looking for a less expensive version of Thinx or Dear Kates. These are definitely not what I was looking for! You definitely need a pad or pantiliner for these to provide any absorption at all, because there isn't any absorbant layer. It's a thin cotton panty with a layer of something waterproof and very, very loud in the middle.You know those vinyl diaper covers that are used to cover cloth diapers? These are basically that (minus the diaper), except with a thin cotton covering for comfort and appearance.Three stars because they will most likely stop leaks, but they aren't what I think of when I think of "period panties".

These are great! They give you peace of mind and they don't feel waterproof, they feel like regular cotton panties.

The product does what it says it will do. My only suggestion for improvement would be to extend the waterproof liner slightly farther in front

Fit like normal panties!! I have tried sooo many period panties, and they all have disproportionally tight waistbands. These fit like normal panties, no muffin top!

I feel like the other reviewers may be workers for the company or something, because these are NOT good lol I bought two pairs, for my next cycle and fully regret it. They run EXTREMELY small. I bought the L and they are just so so tiny easily a medium or a small. The worst part though, is the “waterproof lining”. I’m pretty sure it’s made of PU (polyurethane). It makes this horrible crinkly sound when you walk; super embarrassing. While walking up the stairs, I told my husband that it SOUNDED like I was wearing a diaper. Sounded, not felt. It’s a crinkly sound. I make reusable pads/cloth diaper liners, and I use PU in the diaper liners. In pads though, I use an absorbent cellulose fabric and there is zero sound and they never leak. Maybe the makers should look into something like that instead. No one wants to walk around sounding like they’ve got their V wrapped up in plastic wrap or something. I did give these one actual star (making it two, since the lowest is one), because they didn’t leak. I would never buy them again though.
