I wavered taking a star off, but there is one slight issue...and that is because of the design, the mask rests low down on the nose/over the nostrils - in testing it out it's not super UNcomfortable, and I'm fine with it, but I feel a design that cut just a little further up in the middle would have been better.Otherwise, though, pleased with my purchase as I was looking for a light packable travel mask that offered some options for heat and cold without having to worry about more wires (like the usb heated ones you can buy - i was feeling the need to go old school). The interior gel mask can be dunked in a cup of hot water, or ice water, for a few minutes on the nightstand before use - perfect when you are a guest and you don't necessarily want to be keeping your mask in someone's fridge.I "think" the insert will pass tsa in the 3-1-1 kit - this definitely doesn't look like any more than 3 fl oz. And because the gel doesn't fully fill it out the insert, it should manage the changes in pressure during flight. I'll test this next week, and if it didn't pass I'll report back. Fingers crossed.I was pleased to discover the satin sleeve in the back is almost full length, not half length as the image above shows, so the material will cover both eyes. The elastic band was stretchy and tight enough to give me a good fit without being too tight, but as noted in another review it is not adjustable. The gel insert in mine, the grey with brown stitching, is blue, and the satin on the back is black. Two pairs of foam earplugs, pink, each in a sealed plastic bag included.What I realized after testing it, is that IF you were in public, and didn't quite want the fluffy animal look, you could simply fold the ears under - or better yet, turn it around so the backside was facing out and fold the ears in so they are over your eyes and it would look more like the typical black eye mask.The heat after leaving in a cup of hot tap water for a bit lasted about 10-15 minutes - not super long but just enough to take the edge/stress off. I expect cold would last a lot longer because at room temperature the insert is naturally cold..and of course the insert can be used without the mask if desired to just rest over them. Or, left at home if you just want a basic light reducing mask. Note there is going to be light leakage at the bottom just because of the design - but surprisingly, with the gel insert, very little.Finally, I also knew I wanted the option of having some pressure on my eyes - with the insert it does offer that sort of heaviness. So, like I said, versatile. I was thinking what a great addition to a cold & flu kit for kids...or well, the kid inside :-)

I'm disappointed. It's not adjustable like it says on the description, it's strechable. Smh.. I ordered it and used over night shipping and I got it. 3 days late.. it's really cute though but it's just too big ,I needed an adjustable one.
