I have a Dell Inspiron 5000 series and needed to purchase a new charger about 5 years ago. It was a generic 45w, but just last week, I kept getting an error message and my laptop wouldn't stay charged the past year because the power cord kept slipping out. Just before bringing it in for repair last week, I tried booting it up and kept getting an error message that windows didn't shut down correctly. I did everything suggested on screen with no success. Finally, I brought it in for repair last week as the charge port needed to be replaced (which I already knew). After I picked it up & trying to re-boot it, I kept getting the same error message. It wouldn't stay charged without the power cord plugged in, therefore I assumed the new charge port was bad. iA few days later, I brought it back into the shop & he identified the problem right away. He said it was the power cord and to buy a 65w vs. the generic 45w I was using. I wanted a genuine Dell power cord because there always seems to be issues with most of the generics. A couple days later, I ordered a used power cord & it fixed both issues. My laptop charges up and I was able to get my windows back up.It seems like a genuine Dell product and the price used in perfect condition was very reasonable at just over $12.00. I'm super happy with my purchase, and would buy again from this seller. Let this be a lesson for all to be mindful of wattages, as it can affect your laptop booting up, not properly charging and it's performance. .If I have any issues with this power cord I will update my review.

I have an Inspiron 17 5000 Series laptop (5767); its charger was starting to go wonky because of problems with the plug (into the computer). While I was concerned about this not being "real," I found myself choking on the $52 price if I bought it from Dell... In any case, I just got this today and it appears IDENTICAL to the one I got from Dell with the computer! My original charger didn't have "Dell" anywhere on it, and neither does this.So far, it works great! If anything changes in the future, I'll come back and re-edit this review.In the mean time, everyone should be aware that the original chargers sent out by Dell are known to be unreliable/prone to breakage at an early age. From what I've heard, my 2 years with the original charger is a near-miracle, as most others become unusable in less than half that time! Then again, my laptop doesn't move around much, so the plug didn't get as much wear-and-tear as most would have gotten...

This power supply is furnished with two different sizes of male plugs that fit Dell and other lap top computers. Really reasonable in cost and shipping is fast. Works great with my Dell

Co-worker friend asked me to reset/re-install Dell Inspiron 13 7391 2n1 laptop and change language. Dell BIOS was configured to display warning that supplied 45W adapter was below proper specification. Purchased Dell OEM 65W replacement. Amazon package (Notebook Parts Outlet) arrived on time in an adequately labeled/sealed brown box. Contents were in apparent new condition, labeled Dell P/N 0MGJN9 (65W), as expected. I assembled and tested. Worked fine, no issues.

It didn't work well. It was probably an issue with the computer itself.

Just for the record, I hate Dell laptops. Had them for years and was never satisfied with the battery life or the constant updates from Microsoft. That being said, my wife still has hers and I was able to replace the battery for the 2nd time since she owned it. I purchased an Acer Chromebook for myself and it is easy to use, battery life lasts up to 8-10 hours, lightweight and everything is in the Google Cloud.

This was absolutely exactly as described. Branded Dell, manufactured by Lite-on. The cord, from wall to brick is about 4 feet. From brick to barrel plug is a little more than 5 feet. What wasn't listed is that it includes a little pigtail that converts from the small barrel plug to a much bigger one. Inspiron 15 (3567) had no problems using it and charging the battery. Barrel plug fit perfectly.People don't seem to realize that if they purchase this and get a different product they need to initiate an exchange. Amazon had a huge problem with multiple categories of products where bad sellers would send in fakes to sell that would get mixed in with the genuine products at the warehouse. I'd put a big yellow dot of paint on it so that it will stand out as not belonging back on the shelf.If you bought from an Amazon seller and not Amazon itself, and receive a fake product, leave that seller a bad review in addition to returning it. Seller reviews aren't done here on the product page.

I tried no name brads that didn't work. But this Dell brand works good with inspiron17 i7 8500u, 7773 touchscreen laptop. I'm so pleased
