The fragrance is lemon; if there are other citrus fragrances in there, they're covered up by the aroma of lemon. The lemon smell is similar to a lemon drop candy, not too acid, and sweeter than you'd expect from a body wash or shampoo.The body wash is effective, no more, no less than typical shelve name brand body washes. For a few years now, I have been using Petal Fresh's line of products when I shower. The lather created is just the right amount for my needs. The Aloe & Citrus is great.
