As we're headed into winter, I knew that dry skin was in my future, so I went ahead and ordered this oil even though I'm not a huge fan of vanilla scented body products. To my surprise, this really doesn't smell like vanilla at all (so if that's what you're after, keep looking). When I first used this oil, the immediate scent hit my nose kind of funny - I couldn't decide whether I liked it or not. But that smell quickly dissipated into a warm, slightly sweet, kind of citrusy/powdery scent that's difficult to describe. Whether one likes a particular scent is subjective, but for me, it's a hit (and I generally gravitate towards warm, woodsy, earthy scent profiles). Apparently it's a hit for my teenage son as well, because when I'm wearing it, he always asks me why I smell so good! The scent lasts a really long time, too. The oil takes about twenty minutes to absorb into the skin. It's not very thick, so a good amount (like half a handful) comes out with each pump. I use it after every shower, and my skin is much happier for it already. I love the scent of this oil so much that, even though my first bottle is still more than half full, I've ordered a back-up bottle so that I will have enough to take me through winter if this oil becomes unavailable for some reason. As long as this oil is around, I will keep purchasing it!

I got vanilla scented and it arrived today. The pump does not pump. That’s ok I will use without the pump. I’m a guy who got wise from an ex girlfriend who turned me on to the world of moisturizing. I use shea butter and oils to moisturize. My dry skin is gone! The only other thing is if I can get unscented I will do that as the vanilla smells a little too sweet for my tastes. I will give to my new girlfriend.

Doesn’t smell like vanilla or any of the descriptors labeled. It doesn’t smell bad more like a generic hand soap but it’s not what I was looking for.

I ordered it because it was a nice size and the price was good . I love the smell of vanilla so I read some reviews and it said it was a nice warm smell of vanilla. No it’s not at all you can not smell vanilla it’s like a Citrus a little orange with something else. I would not buy it if you are looking for a vanilla smell. I wish I could return it but I open it . I do not recommend buying this.

Great scented massage oil

I only gave this message body oil two stars, because it does not smell like saddlewood; it stinks. I should have sent it back, but I opened it, as well as threw the box away. Poor quality for such a high price.

Love how moisturizing this. As I get older, I realize I'm getting to where I need to be using some kind of moisturizer every day. This is a great way to get that with a light, natural scent. Although the grapefruit scent doesn't seem to last that long, the moisturizing does. It makes my skin look and feel much better.
