I only wish I had found your product before I spent so much money on an experiment using a SuperQuiet 2200watt Honda Generator to try and solve a problem......Here was the problem that this product solved so quickly:We own a C Motorhome. My beautiful wife HATES camping in those campsites that have your neighboring RV'ers/Campers 5 to 10 feet away and looks like a large parking lot, all just so you can connect to power. Also, with more and more people camping these days, the "full hookup sites" with a power pedestal are the premium sites, and reservations fill up 6 months to a year in advance. We end up camping off the grid most of the time. This includes sites you might think of as State Park or RV Park "Tent Camping" locations, but located under beautiful trees and wonderful deep woods without any utilities. There are other campers next to us, but the space between sites is just so much better than those "parking lot" type campsites.Early in the morning while other neighbors are still sleeping, and I want to startup a coffee pot, or run our Heater, lights, TV, fans, etc. The house coach batteries just cannot handle the power needs long enough. This is the same issue late at night when the noise restrictions won't allow generators to run. This led me to seek an off-grid power solution that was both quiet and reliable.I recently experimented with the newest SuperQuiet 2200c Honda Generator. I placed it in the back of my tow vehicle (an older 2000 Toyota 4Runner) and attached an aftermarket metal exhaust hose that I positioned leading out of the side passenger window. My thought was to keep the noise down as much as possible by using the 4Runner as a "sound reduction box". Unfortunately, as more power was drawn from the RV, the generator would increase and the noise got even louder... So even with all of that, the SuperQuiet Honda generator, running it inside the Toyota 4Runner to muffle even more sound. It was STILL TOO LOUD for those camping sites.You can imagine my surprise when I found the perfect solution... YOUR CarGenerator. My existing vehicle running at such a quiet idle, along with your product was all I needed, all along! Just connect your product, start my vehicle, and my answer was right there! No need to bring an extra generator for those early mornings or late night power needs. No need for bringing extra gas cans. No need to run an exhaust spewing extra generator inside the back of my tow vehicle. No more loud generators noise that disturbs neighbors early in the morning or late at night.IF I HAD ONLY KNOWN, I COULD HAVE SAVED THAT ENTIRE EXPENSE AND HEADACHES.

Call me one happy old lady!!! This Cargenerator is amazing. I am doing a test run as I type this. The refrigerator is humming, my iPad is charging, a lamp is blazing, the tv is on and I haven’t even come close to using all the power available.The first time I tried it was quite a challenge. The fault was with with my car though, not the generator. Now that I have figured out car hookup, it took 10 minutes to get it up and running. It took longer to get the extension cords run inside the house than the generator.I am a 90 lb. old lady with a bad back. If I can do it, anyone can. I hope I don’t need to use it but have piece of mind just in case. Sort of like insurance, you don’t want to use it but are so very happy to have it if you do!

We have a 20 year old 34 ft Airstream Travel trailer. Recently we went to Horseneck Beach State Park, MA. and camped for 2 weeks right on the edge of Buzzard's Bay. We have been going there for nany years. There are no service hookup on the water sites, This year they have banned generators. The Car Generator was a site saver. "No fuss, No muss", We charged our batteries in 2 hours and they lasted 4 days with enough power to bring in the slide-out and adjust the Hensley hitch for hook-up. It weighs 16 pounds and stores easily. The most important factor about this product is the support. We had a question and called on a Sunday and got the owner personally who walked us through our concern. I have alway been able to communicate directly with him every time I have called. The Horsenck Beack ruling on generators, I believe is a harbinger of things to come. It's a great investment for all RVers.

My CarGenerator was late arriving due to being held up in customs, but their customer service department kept me updated on delivery timing. The product was delivered and was exactly as advertised, with clear instructions on how to operate and tips on possible applications. I hooked it up, had a minor issue (user error) and called their support number. Jonathon returned my call promptly (I had already figured out my error). The CarGenerator worked smoothly to power my RV... I think it is a great product!

When I got it I realized it was just a simple inverter. It's just a massive mark up on a regular inverter. You can buy a 1000w inverter for a $100 I found a 2000w inverter for $75 and it works much better than this item. It is literally just a 1000w inverter in a plastic housing with a strap on it. so basically they are selling you the plastic housing and strap for upwards of $600. The customer service is great and all but trust me, just buy a regular inverter and it will work exactly the same.

A great device to have for emergencies. We also have a travel trailer so just in case we need to top off the batteries or run small a/c devices it’s a lot easier to use than dragging out the gas generator.

An inverter like this can be had in thousands of places all way cheaper unless you just like paying way too much like the rest of the reviewers

If you do not have the room to carry a generator, nor want to heft it, nor want to smell gas and fumes ,this is the best thing ever. I use it to top off my batteries in a hour, or connect 120V appliances to it, or be able to use them in the trailer. It is a quiet as your car engine is. And for a Floridian it will serve as my household generator if ever needed during a hurricane outage. Simply plug in from the vehicle an extension cord to the frig and fans, and voila...power.
