Over 800 pages of Dan Jurgen's Tomb Raider comics series collected in a colossal hardcover! When it comes to recovering priceless artifacts from lost civilizations and bygone eras, there is no one more capable than British archeologist and adventurer Lara Croft. Armed with an encyclopedic knowledge of history, years of experience, and dual pistols, Lara will go to the ends of the earth to preserve the world’s most precious treasures from a shadowy organization intent on her destruction. Luckily Lara won’t have to go it alone as she’s joined by roguish playboy Chase Carver and her buttoned-up assistant Madeline Hovan! Join Lara and her friends as they face down unfathomable foes, betrayal, and ancient secrets! This colossal, hardcover volume collects #1–#24 and #26–#34 of the Top Cow Tomb Raider series from 1999 to 2003 and features stories from legendary creators Dan Jurgens, Adam Hughes, Michael Turner, Andy Park, Marc Silvestri, David Finch, and many more! Review: A great rebuy. - Off the bat I love tomb raaider the comics have been great and most importantly. This is a lot better in some cases then the previously released Archive Editions. A little taller but not by much, of course thicker as it is essentially 2 archive editions in a single book. Which is why I am happy to get the third which will make it more uniform with the survivor era being in the larger format. All that being said, the design is great, reminds me of Big Damn Sin City which is a beautiful hardcover if you can manage to get it. I kind of for the fun would have wanted something the size of the adamantium editions just to have the massive tome with the beautiful artwork but nitpicks and smaller complaints. The 25th issue isn't in there same as in the archives edition which is a crrossover issue. Kind of wish it was included. I can't speak enough about the look and feel of it, the spine may be one of the best parts compared to the archive where sometimes it felt like it was going to break, minimal gutter loss in the splash and just seeing Lara at some of her best is great. These editions are worth the rebuy if only for having all current runs once they are released and hopefully they do this with a few of the others. Imagine Empowered since they discontinued it seems the hardcover collections sadly. Or Fathom would be nice. Review: Amazing! - Truly Colossal! Perfect for any tomb raider fan!

Well worth the price!
Love this huge collection of the Tomb Raider comics! I like at the end of the book it has extras such as a old comic from a video game magazine and other mini comics. The book has a nice cover art gallery as well!

Must have for every Tomb Raider fan who missed Tomb Raider Archives
Latest arrival from Amazon. Tomb Raider Colossal Collection from Dark Horse. The quality of paper isn't as thick as that from Tomb Raider Archives or Witcher Library Edition but still considerably better from the paper quality of Marvel's recent omnibus releases. I think the paper quality is comparable to that era when Marvel released those hardcovers from the 2000s era, before entering the omnibus route. Lara Croft in this Top Cow collection is very sexy. This omnibus feels more like a Lara Croft pinup collection that a collection of intricate stories. When these comics were released, the Legends trilogy of Tomb Raider was just getting started and Top Cow didn't really have a lot of pre-existing material to work it. So they had a free reign on what they want to write about Lara Croft. It's more like a collection of short stories, similar to the Witcher Library Edition books. The spine of the book is arched, and feels sturdy, comparable to the Avengers versus X-Men omnibus. It allows you to fully spread thus book on a table without any worry of possible damage. The older Tomb Raider Archives books do not spread as wide as what this book can do. As to whether the book spine can hold the very thick page count from a prolinged vertical position, I can't really say. It's just one of those things that you'll just have to find out. Me personally, I won't risk it. I'll place this book on a slanting book shelf. Lara Croft's sheer aesthetics on this book is reason enough to get this. This is sheer 90s sexy vibe. The only other books I can think of with 90s pinup art in comparable thickness are the Lady Death omnibus (from Coffin Comics) and the Witchblade books (which I haven't purchased yet).

OG Lara Croft, enough said.
Way better than I imagined. It's over 881 action-packed pages, great stories (Angel of Darkness included) and a badass Lara Croft (very similar to Lara from LAU trilogy). It also includes a cover gallery and lots of great arts. The "colossal" title is no joke: you better start planning ahead to find a place to store it. A must buy for fans. **The PS1 game is just for size comparison.**

Oversized, great writers, typical 90s Image art depending how you feel about that.
Truly colossal. It's oversized, bigger than typical comic omnibus. That has its pros and cons. Doesn't fit on the bookshelf with the rest but showcases the art more. Dan Jurgens is a superstar. The art is fine for that 90s Image look. Park is fine but the colors blend too closely and make it less clear what's going on. The color choices improve during Reiber's run as writer in the back half but the art is more stylistically cartoonish I think. I had these as singles in the past buying them as they came out, so there is a nostalgia factor for me.

Collosal Tomb Raider Volume! It's HUGE!
Super Duper Omnibus! I've never seen anything this large before! Much larger in page count AND physical book size than any other Omnibus that I have ever purchased. Yes, it's a little pricey but it's definitely worth it, as you are getting so much in each one of these volumes! It was also packed extremely well in a manufacture box with good secure padding and then inside an additional Amazon box. It arrived in MINT condition! Nice for us collectors! Highly recommended if you are a Tomb Raider fan!

Kusursuz geldi
