Must Read Fun Read
Erik Larsen makes comics fun. Read the first archives and I am back for more. Being an older reader, the black & white pages and the paper really take me back to when comics weren't "over done". Can't wait to pick up volume 3.

Does this follow volume one?
I love Savage dragon but vol.2 completely threw me off. First off, it was in black and white. which normally isn't an issue with me, if I know in advance. Secondly it's as if the the story line in the volume doesn't follow the one in vol. 1. It seems like there are whole chunks of info missing.

Fantastic Collection!
This is a great collection of the adventures of Savage Dragon. There are many issues in this collection, the art is great, the stories are fun.Yes, black and white is a draw back, but the price for the collection of over 20 issues? Easily worth it!Erik Larsen is easily one of my favorite creators because he knows how to have fun while thinking outside the box.

BLACK AND WHITE!
Nowhere in the product description does it state that this is a black and white paperback collection. If you don't mind missing out on the color, then I'd say this is a 4-star item...but Amazon (or the publisher) should notate in the product description that it is black and white only.

Good fun
Of course this book would have been better if it had been in color, but you'll never get 30 issues in color for under twenty dollars. Savage Dragon is a lot sillier than its other image contempories, but it is also fun in a way that nothing else. Also, like nothing else on the market, we find the same author and artist from beginning to end. There is nothing worse than picking up the next arc of your favorite graphic novel and find the the new writer or artist is complete bollocks. My only complaint, which prevented it from giving this five stars is that there seems to be continuity issues from Volume One to Volume Two. It really feels like there is an issue missing. Anyway, I am looking forward to moving on to issue three.

Love it! Brings me back to when I started reading comics
Savage Dragon is one of those comics for when you can't take any more intense reading (Walking Dead, Ex Machina etc) and just want to mellow out with something maniacal. This is dumb fun at it's finest. Some pacing issues. The collection starts off without (much) need to know what's going on (it explains everything) and ends off at a good point without being annoying. For the price, reccomended. Might throw you off if you're not use to pen-only artwork.

Three Stars
I would have liked it better if it had been in colour and not B & W.
