You won't regret it! - I waited several months to write an honest review. By no means am I a gamer, but this works amazing!!! Some of the buttons are in different areas but it didnt affect the function. I used it for the Playstation 5. I have a house full of kids (10 to be exact) they can be rough and this has survived plenty of falls and bumps. The cord is also pretty long so you don't have to be so close to the Playstation or t.v. Review: Already broken after ~1 month of use (the cable/wiring) - Have barely used it with my PS5, and solely as an emergency controller as it is wired and thus cannot run out of battery, plus it works well for singleplayer games with limited input, i.e. Stardew Valley. Well, after using it for probably 4 weeks on after having been left in its box for months, it has already stopped working properly. It's the wiring itself, where the cable connects to the controller, that is the issue. It's loose-fitted, so maybe it was a light drop, or one accidental catch on something, but now the controller struggles to maintain a connection, and it's been getting worse and worse to the point where I cannot use the controller out of fear that it will turn off in the middle of combat. It's a shame, as the controller is otherwise a serviceable 3rd party replacement for a PS5 controller, but if the cable is *that* fragile (because I've been treating it *very* delicately, to maintain it), then it's not a feasible replacement after all. Oh, and it also doesn't like connecting to the PS5 in the first place, with me having to mess around with the cable to get the console to recognize it before I can even use it. Yeah... not good. Basically: Do not buy. Mine is already broken, having lasted even less time than a licensed Sony controller. The cord is decent in length. Only downside is that it doesn’t always connect when resuming the PS5 from rest mode.
