Q: Can this lift a 6' tall tub shower combo?

The platform size is 24" L x 19" W. It can be used for lifting, positioning and installing air ducts, plumbing, sheetrock, ceiling panels, heaters, chimney pipes, electrical fixtures and much more.

Q: Wewre can i get replacment parts for the genie hoist, gh-5.6

I am lloking for replacement parts myself Today, I think I am going to call "Genie Inc", I beleive they list "Sunbelt Rentals" as one of their parts outlet.

Q: how fast does it fully extend/ retract? Can use copressed air instead of co2?

It is quite quick. With a moderate load ---200 lbs---it can go up in 5-15 seconds -- slower if you want. We use N2. the only problem i think with compressed air would be the possibility of moisture. CO2 and N2 are very dry. Retraction depends on the load. the same 200 lbs comes down in 15 sec or so. It has been a very good unit for us.
