Best Kennel/Furniture!!! 10/10
The media could not be loaded. Size:63.0"L x 23.6"W x 27.6"HGot the smaller size as I was worried the biggest one would not fit in my bedroom which is fairly small for a “master” bedroom. EASY to put together. It’s handy to have a screw driver with screw heads that can switch out. (Idk what kind of screw heads exactly is needed I just tested till 1 fit).Beds:brand is FRINGE and they are Orthopedic Meduim size crate mat bed with memory foam insert 29inch X 21inch X 2inch w/a 100% cotton canvas cover(removable insert/machine washable[cold] which I got from TJ Maxx for $19.99 each.Dogs:Tan 3yr old Beagle/Lab mix 53lbs(likes to lay out to slp or ball up under a blanket) & 9 yr old Black German Shepherd/Pit mix 53lbs(likes to ball up to slp or lay out next to you touching with back facing). Normally I get the beds for larger breeds like a Golden Retriever or Labrador size which is what they have and they did not fit & none will fit due to width. Pic included of pink anxiety bed used during transition size med/large.It’s extremely difficult to find beds for any kennel furniture because of the width mostly(from my personal experience as I have tried this one[keeping]& another from Wayfair[returning]) I’ve included a photo of the beds I got(from TJ Maxx[truly a hunt for beds]). I am extremely picky when it comes to any kennels - furniture or not & beds because of my own personal anxiety's related to growing up and also volunteering in Shelters as well as that my older dog had arthritis & my younger dog has separation anxiety.Durability:Been using this for about a month. I have very heavy plants on top. I did recently propagate & separate them into smaller pots ans I had 2large pots on each end. The fishtank is empty atm & will most likely be a succulent garden ans I anm worried anbout the weight being in the middle & I removed the divider(video attachment shows holes where divider connects & it is easy to remove or include) Easy to keep clean. I am ordering an air purifier that is also an essential oil diffuser from Amazon to go on top. Hoping this will help with dander.(Will update later)Training Transition:It took a lot longer for my tan dog to transition into this as she primarily has slept with me her entire 3 yrs of life. My black dog took about a week to transition into this, but I’d moved her regular kennel into the same area weeks before to start the process. I highly recommend desensitization training for anything new for your dogs especially if you want to get your moneys worth and keep the item. How To Train:moving their regular kennel next to it or bed & rewarding them positively & then after slping at night near it work on naps while home and then have them in the room with their regular kennel and or bed with out being home. Definitely put blankets of comfort or a familiar bed in their and reward. As they eventually go in their in their own reward with positive reinforcement. Also lavender essential oils are great for anxiety & keeping a diffuser they can not eat is great. Appearance:Beautiful natural wood color that is from personal experience difficult to find.[READ THIS PART IF YOUR DOG IS DESTRUCTIVE. CONTAINS ADVICE ON ACCOMODATING THE KENNEL TO PROTECT THE FURNITURE/DOG & TRAINING INFO THAT IS MORE SPECIFIC TO ADVICE] ⬇️Durability:(skip if does not apply to you)Destructive Dogs ->I understand that some canines struggle with kennels & every canine & their human deserves to have this beautiful kennel/furniture, so they can feel safer about their loved ones & also admire their beautiful functional piece of pet furniture. Pet parents of destructive canines deserve nice things too.(If you have a dog that will destroy their kennel then a diy I recommend is chicken wire w/the tiny holes LAYERED at least 2 or 3 of the chicken wire to protect your dog from chewing the wire as a very destructive dog will be able to eventually chew through 1 layer. The multiple layers will also help w/scratching preventative damage. I do not have a bed recommendation atm & will update if I find one, but it will most likely be the expensive indestructible type dog beds. Most times this destructiveness is anxiety related, unable to emotionally regulate feelings of strong emotions(will still be tail wagging(tail wag just means feeling an emotion very strongly[does NOT always mean happy]) or it is boredom related. Using supervised puzzles or a non triggering car ride or sniffing exercises indoors(controlled ,safe, calm environments) before having dog temporarily in any kennel let alone a new one. If you have 2 dogs & are using this kennel in an area outside of your bedroom where there will be any guests or excitable lack of impulse control minors(don’t let humans throw things at it or play with it or wack or put fingers inside as this is your dogs DEN space and THEIR den space is THEIR safe space to be left alone and chill out. Redirect your child to another cause-effect activity. Actions like these lead to the opposite of what you want your dogs kennel space to be for & take away any hopes of functionality)… then use the divider AND some sort of tarp over the divider to separate visually the dogs from seeing each other. They WILL still reinforce one another’s anxiety & or excitement. Even with not being able to see one another with a blocked visual & space there is a chance that they will still reinforce one another & this is where training is important. You always use kennel type toys as distractions(give 1 dog the pb slow licker of whatever their choice of preferred slow licking destructive positive reinforcement item while training the other on a guest being in the room & then switching. You can also pretend there is someone coming into the house if you don’t have a naturally occurring opportunity often)(See training info further in review here)Training with only positive reinforcement & easing anxiety is crucial(recommended oil diffusers[lavender] out of reach[toxic] or if need be vet prescribed anxiety meds). Also it’s normal for dogs to resource guard. Growling, baring teeth, etc is a behavioral form of communication. Literally just dogs saying “respect my space” or “respect this is mine not yours”. Punishing these behaviors will only lead to “silent” biting. Guarding the resource that is their bed & safe space is normal. Sometimes they may be okay with sharing & other times not. Sometimes my little one can cuddle with them in there and other times they don’t want to share. I’m not just saying this stuff to say it.

Dogs love it.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is the best thing i have purchased all year. I have 4 dogs and they like to be center of attention when we have guest over. I got this is gray and it is beautiful. It was easy to put together as long as you read the instructions. It took about 1 hour with my husband and I. It came with one extra of all parts. The bottom had 4 screws that needed washers that were not included or advised for. When we screwed in the bottom 4, they came up into the floor. We added a washer and the fit perfect. Have plenty of room as it is large. It holds a dog bed with no problem. Now when guests come over, the dogs have a nice place to be put away and be safe.We have not put much weight on the top but states it can hold it.

Would buy again!
I love this crate. We get so many compliments on it and people asking where we got it! It fits my two pit bulls perfectly, we use the divider in the middle so they have their own space but can still see each other. My one pit is 60lbs and the other 80lbs and they both have plenty of room to turn around and get cozy. It’s sturdy and I feel confident that they’re not going to get out. Perfect if you want something a little more aesthetically pleasing than a normal crate! My only concern is that the lock seems like it may not last long, we’ve only had it maybe a month and it’s starting to bend so it may need to be replaced.

Beautiful dog kennel/furniture, but hard to put together without a buddy!!
This is a beautiful dog kennel/furniture but not gonna lie........it was difficult to put together. Hubby and I did it together and it was still very difficult; in fact we had tip while screwing screws in and a part by 1 door kinda bent and the screws cracked the door as we tried to hold it steady. We r both older and short so it was hard to hold things in place, NOT fun!!! But we got it completed, and it looks great, and we have 2 Pomeranians, 1 is smaller and 1 is a white Pom/Eskimo but is a small/medium sized dog, and there is plenty of room in this double sized kennel. 1 side is for them to sleep with a comphy blue bed and the other side has an XL puppy pad in case 1 should have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. There is soooooooo much room for both, they r inseparable so it works great!! It matches a kennel we have from Amazon that is for a large dog and my teacup Chihuahua uses it at night, so all 3 dogs r able to see each other and since they match it looks great in my living room!! My L/R furniture is the same kind of look and material, so it matches so very well!! I am pleased with this purchase, price was nice, look is fantastic, and it arrived quite quickly, so I am a happy woman, and my dogs have beautiful kennels and my L/R looks inviting!! We did leave door in between out, not needed in our case!!

Exceeded my expectations
I’ve been looking for a nice looking safe space for my dogs. My hound has separation anxiety and requires a crate to stay calm when I’m not home. I love it and my dogs love it! I have a 60 pound hound mix and an 82 pound Pitt mix. They hang out in there all of the time. It was super easy to put together, however the key wrench they give you is pretty cheap and it started to strip. Luckily I had a back up tool. That was the only downside. It took me 2 hours on my own. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something aesthetically appealing.

Measure the height of your pup before purchasing
Love this! I wanted to get rid of the ugly wire kennel and get one more functional for my space. I was a little nervous since there wasn’t alot of reviews but I absolutely love this thing. It fits both my dogs perfectly and super sturdy. It was easy to assemble and you can even take out the middle bar if you want it to just be a large kennel instead of 2. My 61lbs lab mix and beagle still have plenty of room
