Wrangler Riggs Workwear Men's Ranger Work Utility Pants

Durable, Functional- top notch
Great pants for the work site. I struggled to find a decent pair of pants with cargo pockets. Im on and off a forklift often, so my phone occupies one cargo pocket to make sure it doesn't pop out of a back pocket. The other cargo comes in handle for all manner of items. Ive got two small stash pockets for a knife, or other tools. The relaxed fit is nice for getting in and out of the work truck. The front pockets hold keys and tools and never wear through. Zippers and other items hold up. I wear these a long time! They start out stiff(durable) but loosen up as you wear them and wear them and wear them!

satisfied as!
Gidday, while the missus was visiting in the U.S. had these delivered C/O to her so she could lug em back & avoid the ridiculous international delivery charges from the U.S. - sorry but I can get stuff from even further away in the U.K. way faster n cheaper or, even from Finland... U.S. logistics are ok but way down from worlds best - the Japs & POM's are excellent. But, they did arrive as advertised in good condition.Any ways,,, the reason I did this is that U.S. garment quality is usually excellent (way superior than common standards here in Oz) & these did NOT disappoint.Size was spot on : material dam tough but comfortable : stitching good : design & fit all good etc. Like,, the pocket snaps are genuinely strong - the best! Not token 'addons' that cant keep closed or, bloody velcro. Nope, secure, safe, 'stuff won't fall out' snaps. & the Price asked is fair value.Lets see how they age and, as a genuine winging, grumpy ol man I'll sure update this if they don't last well but, if your reading this a few years hence, take it that no more news is good news. Why oh why by now can't we get such decent quality for such a reasonable price here in Australia? !! So bloody frustrating that.Cheers.

These pants are the "tool" you never thought about, and they will make your work easier!
The only thing keeping these from 5 stars is the stiffness of the fabric, other than that "nitpick" these are very well-made and designed. If wrangler made a "soft" version of this very same pant, I'd buy a dozen pair. As they are now, you'll want something warmer when it's under 40 degrees (or size to leave room for long underwear)... and they will be too hot when the temperature is above 85. Clearly the fabric is strong and made to last but it could be softer. There are so many written reviews here I don't need to repeat the comments about the detail but I guess I will anyway. Triple stitching, snaps instead of Velcro on pocket closures, organized multi pockets on the right cargo pocket, a hammer loop which I will use for another purpose but still find it valuable, the leather reinforced pocket edge, the rear pockets reinforced with canvas, the crotch has a hidden panel sewn in for strength and flexibility, and there are material and stitching reinforcements inside the pants to support the pockets. This is an extremely well thought out and well designed pair of pants. So far I have bought them in dark brown and khaki from Amazon and I had bought the loden color elsewhere. I like these pants enough to own several pair in various colors but so far the best pricing on Amazon is with the dark brown and khaki.

Waist very tight. Length seems a little long compared to relaxed fit wrangler jeans.
I am amazed at the quality of these pants. Heavy rip stop fabric and the stitching is well done. Upper pockets on each side are deep and roomy. Position of opening is perfect. Not to low but, low enough that you can get your hand in while wearing a work belt over your trouser belt. Lower side pockets are also deep with a lot of room. Great pants. I will purchase more. Only problem waist is really tight and length seems a little long. Net purchase I will bump up one size in waist and go down one in length. Should be perfect.

Possibly the best pants I've ever owned.
I'm no longer impressed by Dickies, Duluth or Carhartt, I was primarily a Carhartt guy for 20 years, but now I'm definitely a Riggs Ranger guy. They're not heavy but they are durable. They're cool in the heat of summer and warm enough in the winter (with Long John's). Brand-new, they repel the morning dew in the tall grass, this fades after about 6 months of wearing and washing, but they they're like quickdry pants so it's not an issue. The Rangers sit on my waist better than the Carpenters but both are comfortable and look good.As a surveyor in Vermont I need pants that work as hard as I do in all types of conditions and weather. On a construction site, in the backwoods or at the top of Lincoln Peak, Riggs get the job done.

Rugged Pants That Fit Badly With a Poor Design
My Dickies of fifteen years are much better than these pants but the former model no longer exists, so I have opted for this manufacturer. The pants are rugged and well-constructed. No issues there. But there are problems. The first problem is that they fit poorly. Other customers mentioned that the waist is too small and that is true. I ordered one size up on the waist and it's a little loose but my normal waist size would be too tight. So I am between sizes. Also, when I sit, the pants stick to my thighs, are uncomfortable, and I have to pull them up every time I sit. So the sizing of these pants are bad and you're taking your chances if you buy them. The second problems is with various design details. It's stupid to have a loop for a tool that will not last long under everyday use and that can catch on things and cause you to trip. Let pants me pants. If you need tools, wear a toolbelt. The closures of the cargo pockets are badly designed: two snaps on the extreme ends with no way to close the pocket in the middle. I live in a high crime area and need security. Someone can easily stick their hand in my cargo pocket when it's closed and snatched my stuff. I had no problem putting my hand in the pocket when it was "closed." Why not center two snaps in the middle? Useless to put them on the extreme sides. Now I have to use a safety pin or pay for alterations to have another snap put in.I am undecided if I will buy these pants again . B on construction and D on design and fit.

Robuste arbeitshose
Sehr robuster Stoff, ein bisschen steif, aber zum arbeiten ideal. Fällt leider sehr groß und an den Beinen sehr weit aus.

Good work pants
I bought these trying to figure out an alternative to double from carthart that I use for welding. I like them, lighter, more comfortable, waist is a little more snug than I thought it would be, could just be me being fat though. Welding spatter has left a few pin holes in one leg so far after 3 weeks, I’ll say that the holes don’t seem to get bigger after washing. So far I like them better than carthart, area with the pin holes was inevitable as I was pipe welding in a confined space and couldn’t stand away from my work.

Excellent!
These are great work pants. The fabric is perfect. Not too thick or thin.
