Much better than their last aids and what amazing clarity!
This is my second time buying a pair of hearing aids from this company. I like my last pair but a month after I got them, I lost one and never could find a way to buy, just the one I lost. So I have been going without one until now for years. I like the upgrade. The sliding battery charger door is slick. The hearing aids are still an SOB to keep them in my humongous ears holes even with the biggest rubber tips, oh and one more thing, what is with the green goo on the battery charging contacts for. Until I got that wiped off, I could not get the things to charge. Now, when I can keep them in my ears, I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this upgrade of your last hearing aids.First of all, the audio coming from them is so clear, at first I thought they weren't working. Oh my God, so this is what 48 channels will do. It's clean, clean audio like I have never heard from a hearing aid. My wife had $5,000 hearing aids 10 years ago and they never sounded as natural as the wonderfully engineer chips in these new ones.Yep. Everyone is right about the app needing a rewrite and the single touch button thing is a whacky almost useless thing but hey, what do you expect on something that small? A keyboard! It's not awesome but possibly usable once in a while.I say the great news here, is the great clarity, ease of testing and ability to adjust everything without a trip to the audiologists office. Yahoo! This works for me very well. I just hope I don't lose one of these too, like the last pair I bought years ago.

Good hearing aid/amplifiers, but poor app
These hearing aids work great as long as you can get by with one of the preset programs. They are easy to use and you can change programs and volume by touching the outside of the ear piece.Unfortunately, the app isn't so great. While it looks like there are a lot more fine tuning you can do in the app like adjusting individual frequencies and such, you can't keep the devices connected to your phone long enough to do any of that programming.I was completely unable to connect to them with an android device and had to resort to my large iPad. Which is ok, except if you want to be able to adjust them on the go. But even then, they would not stay connected long enough to even do the hearing test program. So while they are good amplifiers, without being able to adjust individual frequencies I would not call them hearing aids.

Great customer service, but device has issues.
I had some problems with this Item, but their great customer service went above and beyond to help resolve them. The biggest problems were falling out of my ears and disconnecting frequently in the blue tooth mode. Customer service sent me a small size ear tip (only med and lg included) and a retaining device which helped keep them in my ears. The retainer also helped fix the disconnecting problem because it was mainly happening when I was touching the device to get them back into the ear. The divices are far to sensitive when the slightes touch anywhere on the device causes a disconnect. Also, the one button does four function which is a bit hard to get used to and not very effective, and the little female Chinese voice that provides messages in you ear is almost impossible to understand. Over, all I would rate the hearing aids about a C, maybe a B after additions, but the customer service an A+.

good for the price
This is a good quality hearing aid. The price is great. There is an app which will help you adjust the frequencies to your type of hearing loss. I already had a hearing exam, so I plugged in those figures into the hearing aid. I noticed that the sound was very natural not noisy. The app has the volume control and mode control. I just set the hearing aids up and left everything the same. The only downside is the battery only lasts 6 hours, so you have to put the aid back into the charging case occasionally to get more time. The other downside for me was the stem hanging outside my ear. Upside was the 64 channels and the noise reduction. I was able to hear soft sounds like someone whispering. The professional hearing aid that was going to cost me $1500.00 was a behind the ear aid which used hearing aid batteries and was not rechargeable. This one costs about $200.00 and is rechargeable. Definitely worth the price.

false advertisement
It doesn't work for me. I have an updated iPhone ISO version. Every time you need it, it loses Bluetooth connection, you can't connect it, you end up taking off the headset to use a normal phone. The same thing happens with the app. Reconnecting it is a waste of time.

Excellent
I ordered these for my mother. She is getting up there in age, 80, and her hearing has suffered a hit the most. These hearing aids has made an incredible diffference. She can actually hear us talking about her in the other room! lol Highly recommended
